As a Host Person at the TAP Sports Bar, you'll greet guests promptly, manage reservations, and maintain cleanliness and organization in the restaurant. THE STARTING RATE: $18.40 per hour

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Greet guests promptly and courteously as they enter the restaurant.

• Manage reservations and maintain an accurate count using the reservation book.

• Communicate with Restaurant Reservations regarding special orders and requests, and relay guest needs to management and the kitchen.

• Maintain knowledge of daily activities, table setups, and restaurant hours, ensuring menus are current and in good condition.

• Frequently check on guests waiting to be seated, assuring them that their tables are being prepared.

• Ensure cleanliness and organization of assigned work areas, shutting down the podium and forwarding phones to voice-mail at the end of the shift.

• Assist food servers, bus persons, and food service runners as needed.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• 2+ years of prior relevant experience in a restaurant as a dining host is preferred

• Able and willing to work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays. Schedule will mostly be nights on a part-time basis between 16-24 hours per week

• Ability to take initiative and exhibit flexibility
