Who We Are:
Watkins Distributing is a family owned and operated beverage distribution company that has serviced Idaho and Montana for four generations.
Tap Cleaners travel to bars, restaurants and other beverage outlets to ensure draught lines are cleaned and in proper working order.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and service draught beer lines and equipment at assigned customer accounts on a scheduled basis
- Ensure all draught systems are functioning properly and meet company quality standards
- Maintain accurate daily service records using company tracking systems
- Travel to multiple customer locations using a personal or company vehicle
- Troubleshoot draught system issues and communicate solutions to customers
- Educate retail accounts on proper draught system care and maintenance
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of tools, equipment, and work areas
- Follow all safety procedures, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment
- Perform all duties in a timely, accurate, and efficient manner in accordance with established service standards
- Perform other duties as assigned
Preferred Skills/Abilities:
- Self-motivated, as they will not have a manager on site with them
- Enjoys a job where they are active and moving around often
- Organized, with attention to detail
- Prefers a flexible, dynamic job, as this is not a 9-5 “office job"
Physical Requirements:
- Lift and move equipment, product, and kegs weighing approximately 20–50 pounds and up to 165 pounds on a regular basis
- Perform frequent bending, kneeling, reaching, and standing for extended periods
- Travel between multiple accounts daily and safely operate a vehicle
- Work in varying environments, including bars, restaurants, coolers, and confined or wet spaces
