As a Tanker Driver, you will be responsible for:
Internal
• Operations, H&S, finance
• Bio-solids Service team colleagues
External
• NRW
• Environment Agency
• Local Authorities
• Contractors
• A HGV Class 1 driving licence is required for the role, Vac Tanker experience is preferred but training will be provided.
• Understand the importance of being a member of a high performing team
• Able to take responsibility for own actions whilst working ‘in the field’ following procedures and guidelines
• Knowledge of IT systems such as Word, Excel and Outlook and ability to use PDA and other hand held devices
• Ability to travel as job requires and have a geographical appreciation of the operating area
• Able to work to deadlines without compromising quality
• Adaptable to changing priorities
• The ability to develop positive working relationships and to be seen as a highly credible representative of the business
