About McClure Oil Corporation

The first McClure station was built in 1963 and there has been a steady progression of additions since then. McClure Oil operated the first self-service gasoline station in Indiana shortly after self-service became legal in 1975. This store continues to operate in Marion.

Currently, there are over thirty five company-operated retail stores stretching from Indianapolis to South Bend and from Greencastle to Muncie. The company plans to renovate and add locations each year and well into the future. While the convenience store operation is the most recognizable, McClure Holdings also operates a successful wholesale business. The wholesale operation provides bulk fuels, oils, and lubes to businesses, municipalities, farmers, homeowners and other independent gasoline operators. McClure Holdings owns and operates its own fleet of trucks that deliver fuel to each of their retail stores and to their wholesale customers. In addition, McClure Holdings owns Cubberley’s Distribution Corporation, a wholesale and tobacco company.

The company headquarters is located at the junctions of State Roads 35 & 37 just south of Marion.
