Talent Sourcing Specialist

We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Talent Sourcing Specialist to support their US-based recruitment operations on a contract basis, with the potential to transition into a permanent role. This position sits within an established recruitment team, working closely under the direction of a Lead
Recruiter and Operations Manager to identify and engage qualified candidates across a range of roles.
This is a contract position requiring 40 to 60 hours per week, and the successful candidate must be available to work standard US Eastern Standard Time (EST) business hours. The role suits someone who is proactive, personable, and comfortable taking clear direction while managing their own
sourcing workload efficiently.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Source candidates across platforms including LinkedIn, Indeed, and other relevant job boards in line with briefs provided by the Lead Recruiter
Screen candidate profiles and resumes to assess suitability before passing qualified candidates forward
Reach out to prospective candidates through direct messaging, email, and platform tools to generate interest and confirm availability
Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records within the applicant tracking system
Coordinate scheduling and communication between candidates and the recruitment team
Provide regular progress updates to the Lead Recruiter and Operations Manager
Support general recruitment administration tasks as required by the team

REQUIREMENTS
Matric (Grade 12) as a minimum qualification; a National Diploma or relevant NQF Level 6 qualification in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is advantageous
At least 2 years of experience in a recruitment, talent sourcing, or HR support role
Demonstrated hands-on experience using LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, and other mainstream recruitment platforms
Reliable home office setup with a stable internet connection capable of supporting full-time remote work
Ability to work consistently during US Eastern Standard Time (EST) business hours

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
Prior experience supporting a US or UK-based client in a remote recruitment capacity
Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and candidate pipeline management
Experience sourcing candidates across a variety of industries or role types
