Your Opportunity

One Permanent Full Time Position.

We are currently seeking a Talent Programs Partner to join our People & Culture team. As a key contributor, you will play an important role in bringing Capital Power’s talent strategy to life; supporting talent attraction, development, and performance across the employee lifecycle. You will combine strong program execution, facilitation, and system management to deliver a consistent and high‑quality experience for leaders, employees, and candidates.

You will contribute to our team by:

  • Delivering and coordinating talent, learning, and development programs across the annual cycle

  • Facilitating workshops, training sessions, and program experiences for leaders and employees

  • Supporting core talent processes, including talent reviews, development planning, and performance enablement

  • Supporting talent acquisition and onboarding activities, contributing to a strong candidate and new hire experience

  • Managing and maintaining employee experience and learning platforms, including content, tracking, and reporting

  • Translating program plans into clear execution timelines, communications, and deliverables

  • Partnering with internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure smooth and consistent delivery

  • Tracking participation and providing program reporting and insights

  • Identifying opportunities to improve program delivery, systems, and overall employee experience

What you will bring to the role:

Education:

  • Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business, or a related field

  • Education equivalency may be considered

Experience:

  • 4–7 years’ experience in People & Culture, talent, learning, or leadership development

  • Experience delivering end‑to‑end talent or learning programs in a corporate environment

  • Proven experience facilitating sessions with leaders and employees

  • Experience working with HR systems, learning platforms, or employee experience tools (e.g., Workday, LMS, or similar)

Technical & Professional Skills:

  • Strong facilitation and presentation skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences

  • Demonstrated ability to drive programs from plan through to delivery

  • Systems-oriented, with the ability to manage platforms and improve processes

  • Clear, practical communication style

  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities

Additional Details:

This role is a hybrid office role, minimal travel may be required
