Job Description

About Us:

At Kooth, our mission is to create welcoming, accessible spaces for personalized digital mental health care that empowers young people to thrive. Grounded in an early-intervention model, we help youth aged 10–25 build resilience, access timely support, and lead fulfilling lives. We are more than a digital service — we are a movement for inclusive, evidence-informed mental health care.

Our culture is rooted in our values: Alongside You, Flexible, Compassionate, Committed, and Safe. These guide everything we do - how we show up for young people, how we collaborate as a team, and how we build solutions that meet communities where they are. With Kooth, you’ll be part of something bigger than yourself: meaningful work with measurable impact.

We bring this mission to life through Soluna, California’s first-in-the-nation digital behavioral health service for 13–25-year-olds. Soluna removes barriers to care by providing nearly immediate access to 1:1 coaching, Care Navigation, and self-guided tools helping young people find real support, build resilience, and discover hope when they need it most. Together with state and local partners, we’re transforming access to mental health support for youth. Learn more at solunaapp.com/impact.

What We’re Looking For:

The Talent Partner is responsible for delivering thoughtful, structured, and inclusive hiring across an assigned portfolio of teams.

This is more than a recruitment delivery role. You will act as a trusted Talent partner to hiring managers, helping them clearly define what good looks like, make evidence-based hiring decisions, and navigate the recruitment process with confidence.

You will lead searches from initial workforce planning and recruitment kickoff through sourcing, assessment, selection, and offer. Throughout the process, you will balance the needs of the business with a fair, consistent, and engaging experience for every candidate.

The Talent Partner will also contribute to the continued development of Kooth’s global Talent practices, helping us improve how we attract, assess, hire, and retain high-quality talent.

How You’ll Make an Impact:

Build Trusted Hiring Partnerships

  • Partner with hiring managers to understand business priorities, team needs, and future capability requirements.
  • Lead structured recruitment kickoffs that align stakeholders on what good looks like, the hiring process, and timeline.
  • Provide evidence-based recommendations, market insight, and constructive challenge.
  • Set clear expectations for hiring-manager ownership, interviewer preparation, decision-making, and timely feedback.
  • Identify upcoming hiring needs, skill gaps, and recruitment risks early.

Lead Structured, High-Quality Hiring

  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from role approval through offer acceptance.
  • Build consistent, inclusive hiring processes aligned with clearly defined success criteria.
  • Create interview plans, scorecards, assessments, and interviewer guidance.
  • Facilitate evidence-based candidate debriefs and challenge assumptions or bias.
  • Maintain accurate ATS records and ensure compliance with Kooth policies and applicable employment laws.
  • Partner with key stakeholders on offer development, approval, and negotiation.

Proactively Source and Attract Talent

  • Develop tailored sourcing strategies based on the role, market, and available talent pool.
  • Proactively engage qualified candidates through LinkedIn, referrals, professional communities, and other relevant channels.
  • Build diverse and representative pipelines using broad and inclusive sourcing approaches.
  • Create engaging, inclusive job descriptions and candidate messaging.
  • Support employer-brand, recruitment marketing, referral, and talent-community initiatives.
  • Monitor pipeline quality and adjust sourcing strategies as needed.

Deliver an Excellent Candidate Experience

  • Create a welcoming, transparent, and respectful experience at every stage.
  • Maintain clear and timely communication about the role, process, expectations, and timing.
  • Conduct thoughtful initial interviews that assess alignment and represent Kooth authentically.
  • Prepare candidates appropriately for each stage of the process.
  • Communicate offers, declines, and other outcomes professionally and with care.
  • Use candidate feedback to continually improve the recruitment experience.

Use Data and Insight to Improve Hiring

  • Maintain accurate recruitment data and activity within the ATS.
  • Monitor key measures such as time to fill, pipeline conversion, source effectiveness, representation, candidate drop-off, and offer acceptance.
  • Provide clear updates and recommendations to hiring managers and People leaders.
  • Stay informed about talent-market conditions, compensation trends, and candidate expectations.

Support a Strong New-Hire Transition

  • Partner with hiring managers to ensure clear onboarding plans are in place before each new hire starts.
  • Coordinate with People Operations and other partners to support a smooth transition from candidate to employee.
  • Identify recurring onboarding gaps and escalate them to the appropriate stakeholders.
  • Use new-hire feedback to strengthen future recruitment and selection practices.

Contribute to Talent Team Priorities

  • Help develop Kooth’s global recruitment practices, tools, templates, and guidance.
  • Lead or support projects across structured hiring, employer brand, candidate experience, referrals, assessments, reporting, and process improvement.
  • Share market insight and effective practices across the Talent and wider People teams.
  • Test new tools, technology, and responsible uses of AI that improve quality, consistency, and efficiency.
  • Continually look for better ways to support candidates, hiring managers, and the business.

Requirements

What You’ll Bring:

  • At least three years of experience managing full-cycle recruitment, ideally within an in-house Talent Acquisition team.
  • Strong experience sourcing, screening, interviewing, and assessing candidates across multiple role types and levels.
  • A track record of building proactive candidate pipelines using LinkedIn, referrals, professional networks, and other sourcing platforms.
  • Experience partnering with hiring managers to define role requirements, develop hiring strategies, and make evidence-based selection decisions.
  • Experience managing employment offers and supporting professional, transparent negotiations.
  • A strong commitment to delivering a thoughtful, inclusive, and engaging candidate experience.
  • Experience using an applicant tracking system, ideally Workable, and maintaining accurate recruitment records and data.
  • Working knowledge of employment law, fair-hiring practices, and recruitment compliance.
  • Strong organization and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple searches and competing deadlines.
  • Clear and engaging written and verbal communication skills.
  • A collaborative, proactive approach and the confidence to provide hiring managers with insight, recommendations, and constructive challenge.
  • Experience within healthcare, health technology, SaaS, digital products, or another mission-led and fast-growing organization is a plus.
