Job Description

The Talent Manager Europe and Africa will work closely with Human Resources Business Partners (HRBPs) and business leaders. This role is key in developing one NSF team of internal and external partners while achieving our mission and goals to attract and retain talent.

Hybrid position out of our Diegem office, Belgium or Long Hanborough office (Oxford), UK

  • Lead the Europe & Africa (EU&A) talent acquisition operations, including leading the talent acquisition team to achieve recruitment goals for the region. Support to other regions recruitment activities can be requested.

  • Defines a sourcing strategy with the Talent Acquisition team enabling pro-active, continuous candidate inflow in the EU&A locations following global guidelines

  • Leads the implementation of talent/TA process improvements for the region, partnering with the full Global Talent team and the HRBP’s.

  • Oversee the daily management of the global applicant tracking system, including communication, change management, training and coaching and accurate data and reporting with assistance from COEs and HRBPs.

  • Ensure compliance with employment regulations and laws related to talent acquisition and talent initiatives.

  • Partner with EU&A HRBP's and Principal HRBPs, business lead and hiring managers to support workforce planning strategies to meet hiring needs, talent retention, development, talent review and succession planning. Support NSF be “a destination employer for world class talent”.

  • Communicate with leaders regarding recruitment processes, needs, trends, position requirements, strategies, and tactics to recruit talented, diverse staff. Support full lifecycle of internal and external recruiting and maintain excellent relations with hiring managers, NSF leaders, candidates, and the community at large as needed.

  • Leads the talent strategy through coaching, feedback, and development, encouraging communication, alignment, and collaboration to drive high performance.

  • Ensure EU&A operation meets the talent acquisition budget. Ensures sourcing strategies are effective in meeting talent metrics.

  • Lead continuous improvement for best practices to improve talent acquisition aligned with global needs, promoting efficiency, productivity, and aligning with the global talent strategy and talent acquisition goals (key metrics: time to fill, candidate experience, quality of hire, retention)

  • Mentoring and development of the TA Team in their role as recruitment strategic partner​.

  • Develop and maintain staffing strategies to align with workforce planning​.

  • Conduct ongoing performance discussions and ensure everyone has clear goals​. Drive accountability​.

  • Proven experience in Talent Acquisition operations ideally within service driven industry and across multiple countries

  • Experience leading and building strong recruiting team

  • Hands on approach, able to handle strategic projects as well as operational tasks

  • Experience managing a budget

  • Experience with Talent Management Activities (succession planning, talent review, talent development, feedback, etc.)
  • Strong ability to lead change and continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment

  • Fluent in English, French and/or Dutch are a plus

  • Customer service oriented, able to understand the different businesses active in the region and match these with the talent development needs.

  • Strong attention to details and ability to focus on essential goals. Ability to work with deadlines and capable of prioritizing.
