Job Description

To manage and coordinate the implementation of Talent Management processes and initiatives across the organisation, ensuring effective execution of Talent Reviews, Succession Planning, Career Pathing, talent identification and UAE National development initiatives in alignment with the HR strategy and business requirements.The role supports the Deputy Director – HR in translating the organisation's Talent Management priorities into structured processes, programmes and actionable outcomes, while ensuring consistency, quality and timely delivery across the organisation.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategic

  • Support the Deputy Director – HR in translating the overall HR and Talent Management strategy into annual Talent Management priorities and initiatives.
  • Develop, maintain and continuously improve Talent Management processes, frameworks, tools and guidelines in line with approved HR strategy.
  • Support the development and implementation of the organisation's Talent Review and Succession Planning processes.
  • Provide recommendations to the Deputy Director – HR on talent priorities, succession risks, critical talent and development requirements based on talent data and business needs.
  • Support the development of career pathways and talent development frameworks in collaboration with HRBPs and relevant business stakeholders.
  • Support the implementation of UAE National talent development initiatives in alignment with the organisation's Emiratization and people strategy.

Financial

  • Monitor expenditure relating to approved Talent Management initiatives and ensure effective utilisation of allocated resources.
  • Ensure Talent Management activities are delivered within approved budgets and agreed resources.

Stakeholder / Customer

  • Partner with HRBPs and business managers to facilitate Talent Reviews and identify critical talent, key positions and succession requirements.
  • Provide guidance to managers on the application of Talent Management processes, tools and guidelines.
  • Work closely with the Training Manager to translate identified talent and development needs into appropriate learning and development interventions.
  • Collaborate with Recruitment to identify internal talent pipelines and opportunities for internal mobility.
  • Provide regular updates, reports and recommendations to the Deputy Director – HR on Talent Management activities, progress and key risks.
  • Maintain effective relationships with employees and managers to promote understanding and adoption of Talent Management processes.

Operational

  1. Coordinate and facilitate the annual Talent Review process, ensuring timely completion and accurate consolidation of outcomes.
  2. Maintain and monitor succession plans for identified critical and key positions.
  3. Maintain talent pools and track identified high-potential and critical talent.
  4. Coordinate the identification and assessment of high-potential employees in accordance with approved criteria and processes.
  5. Maintain and update career pathways and career development information in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
  6. Track individual talent development actions and provide regular progress reports.
  7. Prepare Talent Management dashboards, reports and analytics for HR and management review.
  8. Analyse talent data to identify trends, gaps, succession risks, retention risks and development requirements.
  9. Ensure accurate and confidential maintenance of talent and succession information.
  10. Ensure consistent application of approved Talent Management processes across the organisation.
  11. Support the implementation of UAE National career development and talent initiatives.
  12. Coordinate approved talent programmes and initiatives and monitor their effectiveness.
  13. Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in Talent Management processes and recommend enhancements to the Deputy Director – HR.
  14. Maintain appropriate documentation, records and evidence relating to Talent Management processes and activities.

Capability / People

  1. Lead, coach and develop the Talent Management Advisor and Coordinator to ensure effective and consistent delivery of Talent Management activities.
  2. Build functional capability within the Talent Management team.
  3. Support HRBPs and managers in strengthening their capability to identify, develop and retain talent.
  4. Promote a culture of career development, internal mobility and continuous development across the organisation.
  5. Foster effective collaboration between Talent Management, HRBP, Recruitment and Training.

Dimensions

  1. Responsible for the effective coordination and implementation of Talent Management processes across the organisation, including Talent Reviews, Succession Planning, Career Pathing and talent development initiatives.
  2. Responsible for providing accurate talent data, analysis, reporting and recommendations to support HR and management decision-making.

Challenges

  1. Ensuring consistent implementation and adoption of Talent Management processes across diverse business functions and operational environments.
  2. Maintaining accurate and meaningful talent information while ensuring confidentiality and appropriate governance of sensitive employee data.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology or related discipline / CIPD, SHRM Certification
  • Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related discipline.

Experience

  • Minimum 10 years' HR experience, including relevant experience in Talent Management, Talent Development, Succession Planning, Performance Management or related HR areas.
  • Experience in a large, operational, transport, infrastructure or multinational organisation.

Skills / Training

  • Fluent in English. Strong MS Office skills and ability to work with HR data and reporting. Practical experience in Talent Reviews, succession planning and career development processes.
  • Training in psychometric assessment, coaching or talent management methodologies.
