As a Talent Expert – Assessments at ASML, you help shape how talent is identified, developed, and prepared for future challenges. Your work directly supports the quality and consistency of assessment practices across the organization. This enables better decisions in hiring, development, and succession planning.
In this Talent Expert – Assessments role, you contribute to ASML’s mission of enabling groundbreaking technology that drives innovation worldwide. By strengthening assessment capabilities, you help ensure ASML has the right people in the right roles at the right time.
You work within the Talent Management Center of Expertise and collaborate closely with HR colleagues and business stakeholders. While your main focus is assessments, you also support Talent Identification and Talent Review activities. As a Talent Expert – Assessments, you combine subject‑matter expertise with a practical, delivery‑focused mindset.
In this role, you translate talent management strategy into practical assessment solutions. You work on operational and tactical level, ensuring quality delivery and continuous improvement.
You will:
Contribute to the design and improvement of assessment frameworks used for selection and development.
Support delivery of assessment activities and ensure a consistent candidate and stakeholder experience.
Partner with HR stakeholders to understand needs and provide assessment expertise.
Contribute to assessment policies, standards, and guidelines within your area of expertise.
Support projects with a regional or global change component.
Monitor assessment quality and flag risks or improvement opportunities.
Share knowledge and support capability building within HR and the business.
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in psychology, human resources, or a related field.
At least 5 years of relevant experience in talent management with strong expertise in assessments.
Experience working in a complex or international organization.
Proven experience delivering projects with business impact.
Experience coordinating colleagues or external partners is preferred.

This Talent Expert – Assessments role reports to the Head of the Talent Management Center of Expertise. The position is based in the Netherlands, with collaboration across international teams.
