Position Purpose
The Talent and Engagement Manager is responsible for attracting, onboarding, and engaging talent across the organization. This role ensures a strong candidate experience, supports leaders in employee development, and advances engagement initiatives that strengthen culture and retention.
This position connects talent acquisition and employee experience, ensuring employees are supported from recruitment through onboarding and beyond.
Essential Functions:Talent Acquisition
- Support recruiting hiring managers (job postings, screening, coordination, offers)
- Manage candidate experience from offer through onboarding
- Track recruiting metrics (time-to-fill, candidate pipeline, quality of hire)
Onboarding & Employee Experience
- Design and deliver onboarding programs for new hires
- Ensure smooth transition from candidate to employee (systems, communication, readiness)
- Partner with managers to support early employee success
Engagement & Culture
- Lead employee engagement initiatives and programs
- Support engagement surveys, analysis, and action planning
- Plan and coordinate recognition programs and culture-building activities
Learning & Development (L&D) Support
- Coordinate training programs and leadership development initiatives
- Support facilitation, logistics, and tracking of learning activities
- Partner with Director of People & Culture (DPC) on development priorities
Workforce & Talent Insights
- Track and report on hiring and engagement trends
- Identify opportunities to improve retention and employee experience
- Support workforce planning discussions with DPC

QualificationsRequired Skills and Experience
- 5-10 years of experience in recruiting, HR coordination, or talent development
- Excellent communication (verbal and written) with the ability to collaborate across functions
- Experience using HRIS and ATS systems (Paycom preferred)
- Experience managing and supporting full-cycle recruiting preferred
- Experience supporting onboarding, engagement, or L&D programs
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field (preferred)

Work Environment
This position requires working primarily indoors in an office setting. Hybrid work arrangement requires 60% in-office.
