Job Description

The Talent & Employee Experience Coordinator conducts onboarding activities from offer acceptance through new staff orientation, ensuring required documentation and pre-employment clearances are completed accurately and timely. This role also supports employee engagement initiatives and Becoming People’s Arc, helping create a welcoming and positive employee experience.

Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of relevant work experience.

· Prior HR, onboarding, or recruitment experience preferred.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with HRIS or ATS systems.

· Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.

· Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion.

· Ability to travel to program sites, as needed.

Role Responsibilities:

· Coordinate onboarding activities, including background checks, reference checks, and required documentation.

· Track outstanding pre-employment requirements and communicate with new hires and hiring managers to support timely start dates.

· Register new hires for New Staff Orientation and maintain accurate records in the HRIS/ATS.

· Support employee engagement activities and Becoming People’s Arc culture initiatives.

· Conduct periodic check-ins with new hires to gather feedback and identify opportunities to improve onboarding.

· Assist with job postings, interview scheduling, recruitment events, and community outreach, as needed.

· Ensure onboarding processes follow established Agency policies and applicable requirements.
