Job Description

We are a company driven by our values excellence, possibility, leadership, service, celebration, and integrity The Technical Trainer/Talent Development Assistant is responsible for the coordination and delivery of technical trainings and assisting the department with all data maintenance for talent development records. This role focuses on enhancing employee capabilities, ensuring compliance with state regulations, ensuring the department is audit ready and supporting Heartspring’s mission, values, and culture.

As a Technical Trainer, you will:

Ensure our staff are equipped to deliver a high level of client services by exhibiting excellence through:

  • Training Delivery & Support: Deliver hands-on compliance and technical trainings such as NCI, CPR and Driver Safety. Ensure all materials, equipment, and supplies are prepared and available for each session. Assist with setup and provide logistical support to trainers and facilitators. (Leadership, Service)
  • Program Logistics: Support the coordination of training schedules, room reservations, and participant communications. Maintain accurate attendance records and assist with learning management system (LMS) data entry. (Excellence)
  • Employee Engagement: Foster a safe and supportive learning environment during training sessions. Encourage active participation and provide guidance to learners in real-time. (Celebration)
  • Compliance and Documentation Ensure all department training records are accurately maintained and filed in accordance with regulatory and organizational standards. (Integrity)
  • Professional Development: Maintain required certifications and participate in ongoing training to enhance facilitation skills and technical expertise. (Possibility)
  • Professional Responsibility: Adhere to code of conduct and company policies, review published communications, escalate concerns through chain of command, and ensure confidentiality. Other duties as assigned. (Integrity)

Requirements

Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Bachelor’s in Human Resources, Business, Organizational Development or related field, preferred.
  • 1-2 years in Talent Development or Human Resources support, preferred.
  • Ability to become NCI Associate Instructor Certified, CPR/First Aid Instructor Certified and Defensive Driving Instructor Certified immediately upon hire.
  • Experience with developmental disabilities in residential, school or adult settings preferred.
