Join Our Team

Deaconess Health System is seeking a Talent Development Specialist to join our Human Resources team. In this role, you will support the development of a culture of continuous learning, growth, skill enhancement, and employee engagement across the organization.

The Talent Development Specialist supports the health system across three states, partnering with leaders and stakeholders from diverse disciplines. You will help design and deliver impactful talent development programs that align with organizational strategy, support employee growth, and strengthen leadership capability.

  • Support employee engagement and inclusion initiatives that foster growth, participation, and retention

What You Will Do

  • Create and implement training programs, workshops, and learning initiatives
  • Deliver engaging presentations and training sessions for audiences ranging from small groups to large‑scale sessions
  • Develop and support leadership development programs
  • Partner with stakeholders to assess development needs and recommend learning solutions
  • Leverage learning management systems, survey tools, performance management software, succession planning tools, and content creation platforms
  • Support continuous improvement of talent development processes and programs
  • Promote an inclusive and development‑focused workplace culture

What You Will Need

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Educational Technology, Business, or related field preferred
  • 3–5 years of experience in public speaking, training, facilitation, or talent development
  • Strong communication, presentation, and facilitation skills
  • Ability to engage diverse audiences and adapt to different learning styles
  • Strong organizational and collaboration skills
