Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Associate to join our Commercial & Investment Bank Talent Development team! In this high impact role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to an overarching talent strategy through partnership with cross-functional teams and will support utilization and improvement of the HR, Talent & Employee Experience products to meet business demand and contribute to the improvement of the firmwide talent advisory offerings.

As a Talent Development Advisor Senior Associate within the Commercial & Investment Bank Talent Development team, you will support the execution of talent management strategies and programs for aligned client groups. You will partner with Talent Advisors, HR Business Advisors, and business leaders to facilitate talent reviews, succession planning, promotion processes, performance development initiatives, and manager development programs. Leveraging strong analytical, project management, and relationship management skills, you will help deliver impactful talent solutions and contribute to the firm's talent agenda.

Job Responsibilities

  • Partner with Talent Advisors, HR Business Advisors, and business leaders to support the delivery of talent management strategies and annual talent processes, including performance development, talent reviews, succession planning, and promotion planning.
  • Facilitate talent discussions by preparing talent insights, analyzing workforce and succession data, and recommending actions to support talent outcomes.
  • Consult with HR partners and managers on talent tools, frameworks, and processes, serving as a trusted resource on talent programs and reporting capabilities.
  • Prepare executive-ready presentations, metrics, and talent insights to support business and HR leadership decision-making.
  • Support the planning and delivery of leadership development, manager effectiveness, and talent development initiatives for aligned client groups.
  • Manage and execute talent-related projects, including communications, stakeholder engagement, timelines, and tracking of deliverables.
  • Partner with firmwide Talent, Learning, Diversity, and HR teams to coordinate and implement talent initiatives and programs.
  • Analyze talent and workforce data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities and translate findings into actionable recommendations.
  • Support diversity, opportunity and inclusion talent initiatives and contribute to strategies that enhance diverse talent pipelines and development opportunities.
  • Maintain a strong controls environment by adhering to risk, compliance, and governance requirements associated with talent processes and employee data.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • 5 years of experience in Human Resources, Talent Management, Organizational Development, Strategy, Consulting, Project Management, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated analytical skills, including the ability to synthesize quantitative and qualitative data into meaningful insights and recommendations.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Experience developing PowerPoint presentations and working with Excel to analyze and present talent data.
  • Ability to build effective working relationships and influence stakeholders across HR and business teams.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and concisely.
  • Experience supporting or facilitating talent management processes such as performance reviews, succession planning, promotions, or leadership development programs.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a global team environment.
  • Demonstrated learning agility, curiosity, and interest in talent development and organizational effectiveness.
