MISSION:

As a Talent Development Manager for CMA CGM shipping, you will drive the execution of talent development initiatives tailored to local business needs while aligning with global frameworks. Your role will focus on identifying high-potential employees, delivering leadership and graduate programs, facilitating career growth, and fostering a performance-driven culture. You will collaborate closely with managers and HR teams to ensure impactful implementation of programs that nurture talent, enhance employee engagement, and support organizational priorities.

WHAT WILL YOU DO ?

  • Drive people reviews, potential identification, and succession planning.
  • Conduct career interviews with Potentials and successors, aligning aspirations with business needs.
  • Partner on assessment centers: case design, participant selection, and development follow-through.
  • Lead talent committees across Shipping org, collaborating with local HR teams & business leaders to set and drive talent priorities.
  • Deliver fast-track and structured development programs, including rotational assignments and Individual Development Plans.
  • Champion leadership training (e.g., TANGRAM) by nominating the right talented profiles for the right programs and ensuring measurable business impact through targeted development and retention of employees
  • Promote internal mobility and skill gap closure for future-ready talent pools.
  • Oversee graduate hiring and development, aligning with global framework and local needs.
  • Drive performance management, supporting managers in evaluations, improvement plans, and recognition.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR ?

  • 10–15 years’ experience in talent/leadership development in large, global organizations.
  • Master’s degree required
  • Proven success in succession planning, high-potential development, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Strong strategic thinking, facilitation, and cross-cultural communication skills
  • Fluent English mandatory.
  • Certifications in coaching and assessment (SHL, Hogan, Thomas etc..) are an added advantage
