About the Role
You will join our Talent Advisory team within the Workforce Planningbranch in the People and Workforce group. This is a unique opportunity to join a newly established Talent Advisory team as one of our first TalentArchitectsYou'll have the opportunity to help build the function from the ground up, partnering with the NSW Government sector to identify and lead the implementation and optimisation of best practice talent technology solutions to develop proactive sourcing strategies and diverse talent pipelines.

The Talent Architectis responsible for developing and delivering strategic talent acquisition initiatives that strengthen the NSW Government’s employer value proposition and attract high-quality talent.

The role also leads the development and continuous improvement of talent frameworks, processes and tools, and provides expert advice on talent acquisition systems and practices, including leveraging emerging technologies and AI to enhance recruitment outcomes. The Talent Architect leads talent-related projects and initiatives and supports the delivery of consistent, high-quality talent services across the sector.

We're Looking For

  • Passionate Talent or HR Systems Professionals with experience delivering HR or recruitment technology projects, implementing systems and optimising talent processes with your strong understanding of talent frameworks
  • Talent Advisory Expertise: You bring strong experience in strategic talent acquisition, leading talent technology implementation
  • Technology and Data Savvy: You confidently leverage recruitment technologies, applicant tracking systems (ATS), and AIenabled tools, bringing a strong understanding of the talent technology landscape to streamline processes, strengthen insight, and support evidencebased decisionmaking
  • Project Management: You lead complex talent and recruitment initiatives from planning through to delivery, managing risks, engaging stakeholders, and monitoring progress in complex environments
  • Collaboration and Influence: You build strong relationships, collaborate across teams and agencies, and influence diverse stakeholders to drive alignment and uplift recruitment and talent practices
  • Results and Innovation Focused: You take a proactive, solutionsfocused approach, continuously identifying opportunities to improve talent frameworks, processes, and candidate experiences in support of organisational objectives
