Building on our past. Ready for the future

Worley is a global professional services company of energy, chemicals and resources experts. We partner with customers to deliver projects and create value over the life of their assets. We’re bridging two worlds, moving towards more sustainable energy sources, while helping to provide the energy, chemicals and resources needed now.

Why This Role Exists

The Talent & Capability (T&C) Partner plays a pivotal role in shaping the region’s talent agenda by translating business priorities into high-impact talent and capability solutions. Partnering closely with local and regional People Partners and business leaders, this role ensures that talent practices, programs, and processes directly enable business performance while remaining aligned with global frameworks.

The T&C Partner also collaborates closely with the Global Talent & Capability team to design, develop, and deploy enterprise-wide initiatives that build critical capabilities, strengthen leadership pipelines, and support long-term organizational success, including the development of early-career talent.

Key Accountabilities

Strategic Talent Partnership

  • Partner with local and regional People Partners and business leaders to understand strategic priorities and translate them into clear talent and capability requirements.
  • Serve as the regional voice into the Global T&C team, ensuring local insights—including leadership, succession, and early-career pipeline needs—inform the global talent roadmap.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive regional talent plan aligned to business priorities, global talent strategies, and future capability needs.

Program Design, Development & Deployment

  • Identify regional talent and capability needs not fully addressed by global offerings and collaborate with Global T&C to design fit-for-purpose solutions.
  • Contribute to the design and evolution of global talent initiatives, ensuring relevance, scalability, and impact across local contexts.
  • Design and deliver targeted development experiences across the talent lifecycle, including leadership, succession, and early-career populations (graduates and interns).
  • Identify opportunities to pilot innovative talent solutions that may scale regionally or globally.

Early-Career Talent (Graduates & Interns)

  • Partner with Talent Acquisition and business leaders to support the design and delivery of graduate and intern programs aligned to business capability needs and long-term talent pipelines.
  • Contribute to the development of structured learning journeys, rotations, and development milestones that accelerate early-career readiness and performance.
  • Support cohort-based experiences such as onboarding, learning sessions, mentoring, and engagement activities.
  • Monitor program effectiveness, engagement, and progression, providing insights to inform future workforce and pipeline planning.

Implementation & Change Enablement

  • Partner with People Teams to implement talent processes and programs, ensuring consistent, high-quality execution across the region.
  • Develop practical implementation and change management plans to support adoption of talent initiatives.
  • Communicate global and regional talent priorities clearly to People Teams, leaders, and employees to drive alignment and engagement.

Continuous Improvement & Thought Leadership

  • Bring forward insights, best practices, and data-driven recommendations to shape and evolve the Global T&C agenda.
  • Monitor program effectiveness and recommend enhancements to improve impact and adoption across leadership, critical roles, and early-career talent segments.

Knowledge, Experience & Capabilities

Talent & Capability Expertise

  • Demonstrated ability to connect business challenges with talent and capability solutions through strong inquiry, diagnosis, and advisory skills.
  • Experience across multiple T&C domains, including learning and development, leadership development, succession planning, DEI, performance and engagement, and early-career development.
  • Proven ability to deliver talent solutions with measurable business relevance and impact.
  • Experience facilitating development programs for individuals and cohorts.
  • Familiarity with assessment and development tools (e.g., DISC, Insights, Hogan).

Program & Project Management

  • Experience supporting the design and delivery of talent programs, including planning, stakeholder coordination, vendor interaction, communications, and impact evaluation.
  • Strong organizational and execution skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives concurrently.

Collaboration & Influence

  • Experience working in a matrixed organization, balancing regional needs with global priorities.
  • Strong advisory, influencing, and problem-solving skills to address people challenges through talent-led solutions.
  • Ability to build trusted relationships across People Teams, business leaders, and external partners.

Additional Requirements

  • Strong communication skills with excellent proficiency in written and spoken English.
  • Agility, curiosity, and a continuous improvement mindset in a dynamic environment.
  • Prior facilitator experience a plus.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 5+ years of experience in Talent Management, Learning & Development, or Organizational Development.
  • Strong understanding of capability frameworks, leadership development, and workforce planning.
  • Experience working in a regional or global matrix organization.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Fluent in English
