Job Description

The Talent Analyst supports talent acquisition and workforce development activities through data collection, reporting, system administration, and recruiting support. This role assists with maintaining talent-related data, preparing reports and dashboards, supporting recruiting efforts, and helping ensure the accuracy of information within talent management systems. The Talent Analyst works closely with the Talent Acquisition team to provide operational support that contributes to effective hiring, workforce planning, and employee development initiatives.

100% onsite/non-remote in Maryville, TN

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Maintain a positive reputation as a Brand Ambassador and support initiatives led by the Talent Acquisition team.
  • Build, update, and maintain job descriptions within talent management systems.
  • Assist with organizing and maintaining workforce competency data and documentation.
  • Collect, compile, and validate talent acquisition and workforce data to support reporting and analysis efforts.
  • Prepare recruiting metrics, dashboards, and routine reports for Talent Acquisition and HR leaders.
  • Support workforce planning, recruiting, and talent development initiatives by providing data and reporting assistance.
  • Maintain the integrity, accuracy, and consistency of talent acquisition and employee data within HRIS, ATS, and other talent management systems.
  • Assist with system audits, data clean-up activities, and process documentation.
  • Support full-cycle recruiting activities for entry-level and selected mid-level positions, including: Sourcing and screening candidates; Scheduling interviews; Conducting initial phone screenings; Coordinating candidate communications; Assisting with offer preparation and onboarding activities
  • Maintain candidate pipelines through participation in school, community, and workforce engagement activities, including partnerships with local high schools, community colleges, technical schools, and universities.
  • Assist with employee engagement activities, training and development programs, career fairs, and other Talent Acquisition initiatives.
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

Education and Experience

  • Associate's degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred in Human Resources, Business Administration, Data Analytics, Organizational Development, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in Talent Acquisition, Human Resources, HR Operations, Recruiting Coordination, Workforce Analytics, or a related field required.
  • Experience working with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) required; ADP experience preferred.
  • Experience creating reports using Microsoft Excel, Power BI, or similar reporting tools, required.
  • Experience supporting recruiting, HR reporting, workforce planning, or talent management functions, preferred.
  • Experience in manufacturing, engineering, assembly, or distribution environments, preferred.
  • Experience supporting multiple locations, preferred.

Competencies and Skills

  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on data accuracy and quality.
  • Ability to gather, organize, and interpret data to support business needs.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and reporting functions.
  • Working knowledge of reporting tools such as Power BI or similar platforms.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.
  • Customer-service mindset with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
  • Ability to follow established processes while identifying opportunities for efficiency improvements.

Physical Demands

  • Prolonged sitting and performing typical office-related duties.
  • Frequent computer and data-entry work.
  • Occasional lifting of 20 to 30 pounds.
