A Day in the Life

In our HR Centre of Expertise (CoE) in Medtronic, plc, we focus on sourcing and securing skilled talent for our operations sites in Ireland. As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you partner directly with hiring managers to support selection and recruitment of professionals.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF:

• Lead full cycle recruiting activities for Ireland Manufacturing and support portions of strategic talent acquisition projects, processes and programs to achieve business needs
• Develop and execute sourcing strategies to engage and convert those prospects over the short, medium, and long term through nurturing and building relationships.
• Phone screens prospective employees prior to sharing with manager to ensure suitability for role
• Manages applicant tracking system
• Collaborate with Hiring Managers to create attractive offers to secure top talent
• Ensure a positive candidate experience and provide regular communication to hiring managers on open positions and active candidates
• Team player with a growth mindset and desire to share expertise with/learn from fellow team and wider colleagues
• Develop strong, professional trusting relationships with our business partners

KEY SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

Must have: Minimum requirements to be considered for this role, please ensure the minimum requirements are evident on your resume.

• Requires practical knowledge and demonstrated competence within job area typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience
• Requires a level 8 degree and minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with 0 years of experience
• A minimum 2 year relevant recruiting experience which includes experience utilizing LinkedIn recruiter
• You like to work in a team environment and can also work using your own initiative

Pay range / Rango salarial / Intervalo salarial /Fascia retributiva / Tranche de salaire / Gehaltsband / Salaribereik: Ireland: 46,880.00 EUR - 70,320.00 EUR | This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).
