Talent Acquisition / Recruiter

Direct Hire Opportunity with Superior Skilled Trades

We are seeking a motivated and organized Talent Acquisition / Recruiter to support hiring and onboarding efforts for a growing mechanical contracting firm. This role will focus heavily on recruiting skilled professionals while also assisting with HR administrative functions and onboarding activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with department managers to identify current and future hiring needs
• Post and manage job advertisements across job boards, social media platforms, and recruiting channels
• Review applications and process employment documentation
• Conduct pre-screening interviews for open positions
• Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers
• Perform reference checks and assist throughout the hiring process
• Maintain communication with candidates from initial contact through onboarding
• Coordinate and support new hire onboarding activities
• Assist with new hire orientation and position-specific training
• Participate in recruiting outreach efforts including job fairs and networking events
• Support general HR administrative functions as needed

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required
• 1–2+ years of recruiting or talent acquisition experience preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple openings simultaneously
• Experience with job boards, social media recruiting, and applicant tracking systems is a plus
• Construction, skilled trades, or mechanical contracting industry experience is preferred but not required
