Overall

We are looking for a Talent Acquisition Technician to join Bombardier’s People & Sustainability team. This role is a key enabler of our talent acquisition strategy, providing high‑impact technical and coordination support to senior HR leaders while contributing to talent acquisition and attraction initiatives and events.

Operating in a matrix structure, the role reports functionally to the Senior Director, HR Engineering & Defense and Head of Talent Attraction and provides direct support to the Director, HR Strategy. The position plays a central role in ensuring operational excellence, effective stakeholder coordination, and a seamless experience for candidates and external partners.

What are your contributions to the team?

Technical Support (≈70%)

  • Reconcile corporate credit cards related to events and activities
  • Issue purchase orders, manage supplier invoices, and follow up on payments
  • Oversee budget and financial coordination for two HR departments, including monthly tracking, annual budget planning and chargebacks
  • Prepare budget follow‑ups, variance analyses, and financial summaries to support leadership decision‑making
  • Manage team governance and coordinate complex calendars for senior leaders, including meeting invitations, room reservations, logistics, and preparation of required documentation
  • Manage day‑to‑day technical activities (email follow‑ups, approvals, timelines and action tracking) to ensure leaders remain informed and aligned
  • Coordinate HR leadership team meetings, including room bookings and logistics
  • Organize and coordinate meetings with internal and external partners
  • Arrange travel and prepare expense reports for leaders and the broader team, ensuring compliance with company policies
  • Prepare executive‑level presentations, dashboards, and analytical materials for leadership reviews and strategic discussions
  • Maintain accurate records, databases, and tracking tools to support reporting and governance
  • Document, standardize, and improve tools, trackers and processes to support sustainable operations and scalability
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aligned with the Bombardier Operational Excellence framework
  • Identify and drive process and cost optimization opportunities to improve efficiency, workflows, and financial discipline
  • Ensure confidentiality, accuracy, and professionalism in all matters

Talent Acquisition and Event Coordination (≈30%)

  • Provide operational coordination and execution support to the talent acquisition and team events
  • Coordinate recruitment events, career fairs, campus activities, and partnership initiatives
  • Manage inventory of promotional and recruitment materials
  • Support event budgeting, expense tracking, and post‑event reconciliation
  • Coordinate logistics with internal stakeholders and external partners (business partners, technical schools, universities, suppliers, and vendors)
  • Support the Talent Acquisition team by:
    • Reviewing job postings for new requisitions (templates, wording, alignment with standards)
    • Supporting CV screening for high‑volume roles
    • Preparing and validating offer letters to ensure accuracy and compliance
    • Compile and update recruitment‑related data and dashboards as required
    • Contribute to continuous improvement of talent attraction processes and candidate experience

How to thrive in this role?


  • You have a college or technical diploma in administration, HR, or equivalent experience.

  • You have a minimum of eight (8) years of experience in a similar coordination or senior technical role.

  • You have proven experience supporting senior leaders in a complex, fast‑paced environment.

  • You are strongly proficient with MS Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel).

  • You have solid working knowledge of SAP, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, and modern collaboration tools (asset).

  • You are fluent in French and English, both written and spoken.

  • You demonstrate strong organizational skills, sound judgment, and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

  • You show a high level of autonomy, initiative, and attention to detail.

  • You possess excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset.

  • You are able to handle sensitive information with the highest level of discretion and confidentiality.
