Job Description

As part of our continued investment in the Talent Acquisition HUB, this role will support planned growth across South Africa as we expand our centralised model. This includes ongoing investment in new processes, technologies, and solutions, such as AI and automation, to improve efficiency, quality, and the overall hiring experience.

The role operates Monday to Friday, with flexibility required to work South African public holidays where these do not align with the markets being supported; additional time off will be provided in return. Working hours are staggered between 07:30 and 10:00 start times to align with regional hiring needs, with schedules confirmed at least four weeks in advance. This role is office-based, with five days per week at our Sea Point office.

This is an exciting time to join us as we build a more scalable, consistent, and high-performing Talent Acquisition offering to support our hotels with 40,000 hires across 56 countries in EMEA over the next two years

You will lead a team of recruiters to deliver consistent, high-quality hiring outcomes that support business performance and the Marriott service culture. Your focus is on building capability, driving accountability, and creating a high-performing, engaged TA team that delivers a reliable, professional experience to hiring managers and candidates.

The Talent Acquisition Team Manager plays a critical role in managing, coaching, and developing Talent Acquisition Coordinators and Administrators supporting non-management hiring across EMEA. You lead from the front, setting clear expectations, reinforcing standards, and creating an environment where the team can perform at a consistently high level.

You own day-to-day team performance, ensuring service delivery is consistent, efficient, and aligned to business needs. You identify risks early, take action using data and insight, and maintain strong alignment between operational delivery and stakeholder expectations.

This role requires a proven people manager with experience in Talent Acquisition or HR. You bring a structured, process-led approach and apply data to track performance, manage outcomes, and drive continuous improvement. You are comfortable operating across multiple countries and managing hiring demands in a fast-paced, service-focused environment.

International or multi-country hiring experience is advantageous, particularly within high-volume or multi-site operations.

You are accountable for team output and delivery against defined hiring metrics, including time to fill, SLA adherence, and hiring manager satisfaction.

This role requires fluency in English. Additional language skills relevant to the regions supported are preferred.
