As our Japan business continues to grow, we are strengthening our Talent Acquisition support for the region.
We are looking for a Japanese-speaking Talent Acquisition Specialist based in Hyderabad to work closely with our Senior TA professional in Japan.
This role will support end-to-end recruitment for the Japan region while also contributing to improving sourcing methods, talent pipelines, and recruitment processes. You will be involved in full-cycle hiring and day-to-day TA operations, while helping us expand our reach in the Japanese talent market. This position reports directly to the Managing Director – Global TA & Development and direct interaction with the CEO and Managing Director for Sales, offering strong exposure within a global organization.
This is an in-person role based in our Hyderabad office.
Key Responsibilities
Japan Recruitment Support
Manage full-cycle recruitment for roles in the Japan region.
Partner closely with the Japan Senior TA and hiring managers.
Conduct candidate screening and interviews in Japanese and English.
Coordinate interviews and ensure smooth communication across time zones.
Deliver a professional and positive candidate experience.
Sourcing & Talent Pipeline Development
Use job boards, LinkedIn, referrals, and direct sourcing to identify qualified candidates.
Build and maintain talent pools for recurring hiring needs.
Support improved sourcing approaches to increase candidate flow.
Track sourcing effectiveness and hiring progress. Design and execute innovative sourcing strategies specific to the Japanese market.
Recruitment Process & Operations
Ensure accurate use of ATS systems and reporting tools.
Maintain recruitment documentation and candidate records.
Support consistent recruitment practices aligned with global TA standards.
Contribute ideas to improve efficiency in hiring processes.
Employer Branding & Market Positioning
Contribute to positioning Marcus Evans as an employer of choice in Japan.
Support localized recruitment marketing initiatives.
Participate in career events and digital branding efforts where relevant.
Qualifications
Fluent in Business Professional Japanese and English (spoken and written)
Proven experience in recruitment (agency or in-house).
Strong understanding of Japanese hiring culture and candidate expectations.
Experienced in sourcing, headhunting, and proactive talent mapping.
Strong communication skills across cultures and time zones.
Familiarity with recruitment platforms, LinkedIn, and ATS systems.
Detail-oriented, organized, and reliable.
Bachelor’s degree required.
Experience in B2B, professional services, or international environments is an advantage.
