Work Location/Travel: This is a hybrid position with primarily remote work. Occasional travel to Richmond and other locations across Virginia is required for hiring and other related events, approximately two to three times per month.

Dominion Care is seeking a self-driven, motivated, and detail-oriented Talent Acquisition Specialist to build candidate pipelines and support immediate and long-term staffing needs across two organizational lines of care: Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (ID/DD) Waiver Services and Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Services. In this role, you’ll manage the full-cycle recruitment process from application through onboarding, partner with hiring managers across Virginia, and create a candidate experience that reflects our commitment to care and respect. REQUIRED EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE

• Strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
• At least one year of experience in talent acquisition or a similar role, including full-cycle recruiting
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet competing deadlines
• Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS), preferably Paycom, and other recruiting platforms such as Indeed, Handshake, and LinkedIn.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Teams, Word, and Excel
• Ability to document processes and stay current with recruiting trends
• High school diploma or equivalent

PREFERRED EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources management, buisness administration, psychology, or a related field
• Two to three years of experience in talent acquisition or a similar role

ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES

• Coordinate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and candidate selection criteria.
• Source applicants through online channels, including LinkedIn and other professional networks.
• Build candidate pipelines by organizing and attending job fairs and recruitment events and partnering with schools, colleges, unemployment offices, and other community organizations.
• Support external and internal hiring efforts, including assessing current employees for unique or more advanced roles.
• Screen qualified applicants and refer them to hiring managers.
• Follow up with candidates and hiring managers to gather feedback on the recruitment experience.
• Anticipate future staffing needs and proactively develop talent pools.
• Process job requisitions and use applicant tracking systems and other recruiting software to track candidates from application through onboarding.
• Provide relevant company information to prospective applicants.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
