Job Description

Our story goes back more than 150 years, to the chilly southern coast of Scandinavia. From our early success in Sweden and Denmark, we’ve grown into the world’s leading specialist producer of plant-based oils, employing more than 4,000 people across the globe.

We work with our customers to make the products you love even better. The oils we produce go into making your chocolate extra-creamy or putting the crunch into your croissant. And it’s not just food. We work across industries to make products that are higher quality, healthier and better for the planet.

Everything we do is about Making Better Happen™.

AAK Locations

This position is based at our site in Aarhus, Denmark. We offer a hybrid way of working.

About the role

As our Talent Acquisition Specialist in Denmark, you will have a unique opportunity to help shape and establish how Talent Acquisition is delivered locally, while being part of AAK’s growing European Talent Acquisition team.

You will take ownership of end-to-end recruitment across a broad range of functions and levels, combining hands-on recruitment with a strategic and consultative approach. Working closely with hiring managers and HR colleagues, you will bring market insights, recruitment expertise and constructive challenge to hiring decisions.

While Denmark will be your primary area of responsibility, you will also collaborate on recruitment projects and initiatives across other regions, giving you exposure to a broad range of stakeholders, functions and markets.

You will play an important role in attracting talent, strengthening AAK’s employer brand, delivering an excellent candidate experience, and continuously improving our recruitment processes and ways of working.

Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment processes across professional and operational roles in Denmark.
  • Partner closely with hiring managers and HR colleagues to understand talent needs and define effective recruitment strategies.
  • Build proactive talent pipelines through sourcing, talent mapping, networking, and candidate engagement.
  • Conduct interviews and assessments and support hiring managers in making high-quality, structured recruitment decisions.
  • Provide talent market insights and constructively challenge stakeholders when needed to support inclusive, data-informed, and long-term hiring outcomes.
  • Develop attractive job advertisements, contribute to employer branding activities, and ensure a professional and engaging candidate experience throughout the recruitment journey.
  • Maintain recruitment data and systems and contribute to continuous improvement of recruitment processes and ways of working.
  • Support recruitment across both professional and operational populations, including blue-collar recruitment.
  • Manage relationships with recruitment agencies and external vendors to support quality, efficiency, and cost-effective partnerships.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across the European Talent Acquisition team and contribute to broader recruitment projects and initiatives.

About you

You are an experienced Talent Acquisition professional who enjoys combining hands-on recruitment with a strategic and consultative approach. You build strong relationships with stakeholders, are comfortable constructively challenging when needed, and enjoy working in an international and evolving environment.

To succeed in this role, we believe you bring:

  • Solid experience independently managing end-to-end recruitment processes, from initial briefing through to hire.
  • Strong experience in proactive sourcing and candidate engagement, including LinkedIn Recruiter and talent mapping.
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
  • A good understanding of structured selection methods and assessment tools.
  • Experience working with Applicant Tracking Systems.
  • Excellent communication skills in both Danish and English.
  • An interest in working across multiple functions, countries, and cultures.
  • Experience from manufacturing, production, FMCG, or another industrial environment would be an advantage, as would experience managing recruitment agencies and external partners.
