Horsham Center for Jewish Life is a 324-bed long-term care community dedicated to providing exceptional care and enhancing the quality of life for our residents. We are looking for a driven Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our Human Resources team.

POSITION OVERVIEW

As the Talent Acquisition Specialist you will lead our full-cycle recruitment process, from understanding staffing needs to sourcing, screening, and onboarding top talent, while adhering to local, state and federal regulations and laws of SNFs/LTCF.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collaborate and Plan: Meet with hiring managers to analyze staffing needs, define role requirements, and establish clear selection criteria.
  • Source Passive and Active Talent: Utilize professional networks like LinkedIn, job boards, social media, host job fairs and employee referrals to build robust candidate pools.
  • Manage the Hiring Process: Design compelling job descriptions, screen résumés, conduct initial phone/video interviews, and coordinate practical assessments.
  • Deliver Candidate Experience: Maintain regular communication with applicants to ensure a smooth, positive, and engaging journey from application to offer.
  • Extend Offers: Partner with HR and management to design competitive compensation packages and negotiate job offers.
  • Track Analytics: Monitor recruitment metrics (such as time-to-fill, source of hire, and cost-per-hire) to improve hiring strategies.
  • Promote the Center: Represent the company at career fairs, industry events, and via digital outreach campaigns.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or Organizational Psychology, or a related field strongly preferred.
  • Experience: 2 to 4 years of proven experience in full-cycle recruiting or talent acquisition.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), human resource information systems (HRIS), and sourcing platforms.
  • Communication: Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills to build rapport with stakeholders and candidates.
  • Knowledge: Familiarity with employment laws, CMS SNF/LTCF regulations, hiring compliance standards, and current talent market trends.
