Job Title : Talent Acquisition Specialist

As a business area segment within Sandvik Group, Intelligent Manufacturing incorporates the three divisions of Design & Planning Automation, Additive Manufacturing and Industrial Metrology.

About the Role:

To help accelerate our growth further, Sandvik is looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist This role is a critical horizontal within the HR function that will centrally drive hiring across key business units and support scaling of our India and global operations.

Some of the key engagement areas that this role will impact are: building strong talent pipelines, driving end-to-end recruitment lifecycle, supporting leadership and niche hiring, enabling campus programs, and strengthening Talent Acquisition Operations and employer branding.

The Talent Acquisition Specialist will report into the Head of HR and will work closely with Business HR, Hiring Managers, and global stakeholders. The role may require some travel to support hiring initiatives, campus programs, and business expansion.

What we want you to do here:

You will be actively managing end-to-end Talent Acquisition lifecycle Few of the key activities are as below:

  • Managing complete recruitment lifecycle including sourcing, screening, interview coordination, offer management, and onboarding
  • Partnering with Hiring Managers and Business HR to understand hiring needs and translate them into effective hiring strategies
  • Driving hiring across technology, business, and leadership roles, especially for global product teams and GCC setups
  • Designing and executing strategic hiring plans aligned to business growth and revenue priorities
  • Building strong talent pipelines through multiple sourcing channels including LinkedIn, job portals, referrals, and vendor partnerships
  • Managing candidate experience across all touchpoints to ensure high-quality engagement and conversion

You will also contribute towards Talent Acquisition Operations and Strategy, including:

  • Managing and optimizing ATS systems and recruitment dashboards
  • Driving recruitment analytics, reporting, and insights to improve hiring efficiency
  • Supporting campus hiring programs, diversity hiring, and employer branding initiatives
  • Partnering with external vendors, agencies, and recruitment partners
  • Supporting process improvements, standardization, and automation within TA

One of the key responsibilities for this role is to:

  • Scale hiring for India GCC / Capability Centers and support global hiring mandates
  • Drive stakeholder management across regions (India, APAC, EMEA, US)
  • Lead or support leadership hiring and niche skills hiring
  • Conduct market intelligence and compensation benchmarking
  • Ensure adherence to hiring governance, compliance, and process excellence

As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will also:

  • Actively manage vendor relationships and ensure optimal utilization
  • Support onboarding processes in collaboration with HR Operations
  • Create periodic hiring reports, dashboards, and insights for leadership
  • Drive continuous improvement in hiring processes, tools, and candidate experience
  • Contribute to building a strong employer brand in the market

Some of the desirables from the role holder will include:

  • Strong experience in IT / Product / GCC hiring environments
  • Proven track record of scaling teams in high-growth organizations
  • Exposure to global hiring and stakeholder management
  • Strong understanding of recruitment metrics, analytics, and TA operations
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, ambiguous, and growth-oriented environment

Desired Candidate Profile:

  • 5–10 years of proven experience in Talent Acquisition (preferably in IT/Product/GCC setup)
  • Experience in end-to-end recruitment and strategic hiring initiatives
  • Strong expertise in stakeholder management and business partnering
  • Hands-on experience with ATS platforms and recruitment tools
  • Strong analytical mindset with ability to use data for decision-making
  • Excellent communication, influencing, and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to work independently and drive outcomes with minimal supervision
