Job Description

JOB PURPOSE or JOB SUMMARY:

The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for managing full cycle recruiting activities for assigned roles across the organization. This position partners with hiring managers to understand workforce needs, develop sourcing strategies, identify qualified candidates, and deliver exceptional candidate experience. The specialist plays a key role in building strong talent pipelines and supporting organizational growth. This role reports to the Director of Human Resources

Contributes to a positive working culture, builds strong relationships, and lives out the values of integrity, collaboration, and accountability.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Partner with hiring managers to clarify job requirements, competencies, and selection criteria.
  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, selection support, and offer facilitation.
  • Conduct phone screens and assess candidates for skills, culture fit, and alignment with job requirements.
  • Coordinate interview processes, ensuring timely communication and smooth execution.
  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies to attract top talent through job boards, social media, networking, referrals, and proactive outreach.
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for critical and hard to to fill roles.
  • Leverage market insights, talent intelligence, and recruitment data to adjust sourcing strategies.
  • Advise hiring managers on recruitment best practices, interview techniques, and market conditions.
  • Provide regular updates regarding candidate pipelines, challenges, and progress.
  • Collaborate with HR partners on workforce planning and organizational staffing needs.
  • Deliver consistent, positive candidate experiences through timely communication and professionalism.
  • Support employer branding initiatives including recruitment events, social content, or community outreach.
  • Represent the organization at career fairs, campus events, and industry networking activities.
  • Maintain accurate ATS records and ensure compliance with company policies and employment regulations.
  • Prepare recruiting metrics and reports to support data driven driven decision-making.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of recruiting processes, tools, and candidate engagement strategies.
  • Other duties and special projects as assigned.

  • Ensures the confidentiality of sensitive information.

WORKING CONDITIONS

  • Office hours average 40 per week.
  • Standard business hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and/or as aligned with manager and site needs. Occasional remote work arrangements applicable as approved by manager.

Travel

  • Minimum travel required for site visits, career fairs, etc.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in recruiting, staffing or talent acquisition
  • Prior experience with HRIS/Applicant Tracking Systems (ATSs) technologies and recruiting tools.
  • Certifications in general HR practice or related field, such as SHRM or similar, preferred.
