The Campus Recruiter for the craft positions will lead efforts to attract and recruit top talent from technical colleges. This role is pivotal in establishing the company’s presence on campuses and fostering relationships with students and academic institutions.

What You'll Do:

  • Partners with hiring manager and HR Business Partner to determine staffing needs. Screens resumes, interviews candidates (by phone or in person), administers appropriate assessments and reference/background checking, makes recommendations for hire (or not hire) and delivers employment offers for both exempt and nonexempt position openings within an assigned territory.
  • Develop and implement strategic campus recruiting plans specific to technical/craft universities.
  • Coordinate and participate in campus recruiting events, including career fairs, information sessions, and on-campus interviews.
  • Build and maintain partnerships with university career services, faculty, and student organizations in the region.
  • Engage with students through presentations, networking events, and social media outreach.
  • Review applications, conduct interviews, and evaluate candidates for fit with the company's culture and needs.
  • Monitor and analyze recruiting metrics to measure the effectiveness of campus initiatives and adapt strategies as necessary.
  • Represent the company at regional campus events, promoting the brand and career opportunities available.
  • Serves as an expert for recruiting candidates within an assigned
  • Maintains memberships and affiliations with trade/professional organizations related to industry. Takes the lead in the development of one or more annual Affirmative Action Plans.
  • Suggest and help implement on-going process improvements to ensure an effective, efficient and compliant recruiting process.
  • 35-50% travel required

What We're Looking For:

Talent Acquisition Specialist Associate:

  • Bachelor's degree or High school degree and 4 years of HR experience.
  • One year of experience in recruitment and placement of applicants in professional and management level exempt positions including working with electronic applicant systems and internet recruiting sources is preferred.

Talent Acquisition Specialist:

  • Bachelor's degree in human resource management or related field preferred; or equivalent years of experience.
  • Two years of corporate experience in recruitment and placement of applicants in professional and management level exempt positions, including one year of knowledge and experience working with electronic applicant systems and internet recruiting sources.

Talent Acquisition Specialist Sr.:

  • Bachelor's degree in human resource management or related field preferred; or equivalent years of experience.
  • Five years' corporate experience in campus recruitment and placement of applicants in professional level exempt positions including 3 years of knowledge and experience working with electronic applicant systems and internet recruiting sources.

Licenses/Certifications: Valid driver's license and required Identification for TSA.

Competencies:

  • Business Acumen Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Global & Cultural Awareness Relationship Management Consulting /coaching.
