
Time Type: Full timeWorker Type: EmployeeThe purpose of this role is to support the Talent Acquisition (TA) Operations function by contributing to the development and implementation of policies, programs, and practices. They act as a subject matter expert (SME) and includes mentoring new TA Onboarding Specialists, providing process initiatives, and administering various People employee programs to meet organizational needs. Additionally, the role involves daily activities within the TA Operations delivery, covering end-to-end pre-boarding and hiring execution, with focus on offer letter initiation, background check coordination, and hiring administration. This role serves as the critical link between final interview completion and the employee’s first day, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and a positive candidate experience.
Responsibilities :
Drafting, reviewing, and sending official employment agreements, ensuring accuracy in salary, start date, and terms.
Initiating, monitoring, and following up on background verifications (criminal, employment, education) and drug screenings to ensure timely clearance.
Ensuring all pre-employment activities comply with regulations such as FCRA, EEOC, and data privacy standards.
Handling employee record creation, processing internal movements, and ensuring Right to Work is verified and completed.
Acting as the main point of contact to resolve queries, address concerns, and guide candidates through the "pre-boarding" process to prevent fallouts.
Collaborating with recruiters, hiring managers, IT, and external vendors to facilitate smooth onboarding.
Managing complex onboarding cases, handling red flags in background checks, and resolving high-level inquiries.
Proactively identifying gaps in the onboarding workflow and implementing improvements to increase efficiency and candidate satisfaction.
Supporting and mentoring junior onboarding team members or specialists.
Collating and auditing data entered by junior staff to ensure integrity in Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and HRIS.
Work Experience
Necessary Work Experience includes:
2-4+ years in HR onboarding, talent acquisition support, recruitment administration or HR service delivery roles.
Preferred Work Experience includes:
Increasing level of responsibility in a shared services or call centre environment
Policy administration experience.
Experience in shared services or RPO/BPO industry with shifting schedules.
Qualifications :
Necessary Qualifications include:
Tertiary Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
