Job Description

As part of the Talent & People Experience team, this role plays an important part in connecting great people with opportunities across our Technology business, helping TAL attract the capability we need to keep protecting and supporting Australians when they need us most. With a focus on thoughtful talent engagement and exceptional candidate experiences, this role helps shape how people first experience TAL and the purpose we stand for. In this role you will:

  • Partner with technology leaders to shape workforce plans that support current and future capability needs.
  • Build trusted hiring partnerships that enable confident, inclusive and timely recruitment decisions.
  • Develop targeted sourcing strategies that connect TAL with high-quality technology talent in competitive markets.
  • Use market insights to influence hiring approaches, talent pipelines and candidate engagement strategies.
  • Strengthen TAL’s employer brand by delivering a thoughtful and compelling experience for technology candidates.
  • Drive continuous improvement in recruitment outcomes through data, insights and best-practice talent acquisition.

Qualifications

  • Bring proven talent acquisition experience across technology recruitment in in-house or agency environments.
  • Build credibility with technology leaders and hiring teams through clear communication, advice and influence.
  • Use contemporary sourcing channels, talent communities and market insights to engage diverse technology talent.
  • Apply commercial judgement and data to support practical hiring decisions and strong recruitment outcomes.
  • Deliver a positive, candidate-centred experience while managing priorities and timelines with confidence.
  • Work confidently with recruitment systems and Microsoft Office tools to support accurate, efficient hiring activity.
