Why does this job exist and why is it critical?​

The Talent Acquisition Partner is responsible for managing the full lifecycle recruitment process, from sourcing and screening candidates to offer management and onboarding support. This role involves collaborating closely with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs, developing effective recruitment strategies, and ensuring a positive candidate experience. The Talent Acquisition Partner will play a crucial role in attracting, engaging, and hiring top talent to support the organisation's growth and strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Recruitment Strategy & Planning:Partner with hiring managers to understand their business objectives and specific talent needs, developing comprehensive recruitment strategies for various roles across different departments.
  • Sourcing & Attraction:Utilise a variety of sourcing channels, including LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, professional networks, and direct outreach, to identify and attract high-quality candidates.
  • Candidate Management:Conduct thorough candidate screening, interviews, and assessments to evaluate skills, experience, and cultural fit. Manage candidate expectations and provide regular updates throughout the recruitment process.
  • Stakeholder Management:Build and maintain strong relationships with hiring managers, providing expert advice and guidance on recruitment best practices, market trends, and talent availability.
  • Offer Management & Negotiation:Prepare and extend competitive job offers, managing negotiations to ensure successful acceptance and a smooth transition for new hires.
  • Employer Branding:Contribute to strengthening the company's employer brand through active participation in career fairs, online presence, and promoting a positive candidate experience.
  • Process Improvement:Continuously review and improve recruitment processes and tools to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and candidate experience.
  • Data & Reporting:Track key recruitment metrics (e.g., time-to-hire, cost-per-hire, source-of-hire) and provide regular reports to stakeholders, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Compliance:Ensure all recruitment activities comply with local labour laws, company policies, and best practices for diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (typically 5-10 years) in full-cycle recruitment, preferably within a fast-paced environment or a telecommunications company.
  • Strong understanding of various sourcing techniques and recruitment tools (e.g., ATS, LinkedIn Recruiter).
  • Excellent interviewing and assessment skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with hiring managers and candidates.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple requisitions and priorities simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Established in 1961, Malayan Flour Mills Berhad (MFM) is the pioneer in the flour milling industry in Malaysia. MFM has grown to become the leading flour miller in Malaysia with regional presence in Vietnam and Indonesia.
