Job Description
Reporting to the Global Head of Talent Management, the Talent Acquisition Partner is responsible for delivering a high-quality recruitment experience that supports Ascot's global growth and reflects The Ascot Way. This role acts as a key partner to business leaders, ensuring the attraction and selection of exceptional talent aligned with Ascot's culture, values, and business objectives. The TA Partner will manage the end-to-end recruitment process, build diverse talent pipelines, and promote Ascot as an employer of choice through innovative sourcing strategies and strong stakeholder partnerships. By leveraging market insights and data-driven decision-making, the TA Partner will help Ascot secure the right talent to drive performance and maintain our reputation for excellence.
Responsibilities:
End-to-End Recruitment Delivery
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle for assigned roles, from briefing to offer acceptance, ensuring a seamless and efficient process.
- Partner with HRBPs for alignment on talent strategy and offer consultations.
- Develop tailored sourcing strategies for all roles using advanced tools, social platforms, and networking.
- Ensure the HRIS is utilized for candidate process tracking, developing talent pools, and managing the end-to-end recruitment process.
Candidate Experience Excellence
- Deliver a best-in-class candidate journey that reflects The Ascot Way at every touchpoint.
- Communicate proactively with candidates, providing timely feedback and maintaining transparency throughout the process.
Stakeholder Engagement & Advisory
- Act as a trusted partner to hiring managers, guiding them on market trends and selection best practices.
- Facilitate structured interview processes and ensure hiring decisions are data-driven and competency-based, incorporating The Ascot Way Competency Framework.
Diversity & Inclusion
- Champion DEI initiatives by embedding inclusive hiring practices and ensuring diverse candidate pipelines.
- Partner with internal teams and external organizations to promote Ascot as an employer of choice and to ensure a diverse talent pool.
Employer Branding & Talent Marketing
- Represent Ascot at industry events, career fairs, and networking forums to strengthen brand visibility.
- Collaborate with Marketing and HR to create compelling recruitment campaigns that showcase Ascot's culture and The Ascot Way.
Data, Analytics & Technology
- Leverage AI-driven tools and recruitment technology to enhance sourcing, screening, and candidate engagement.
- Use predictive analytics to identify talent trends and improve hiring outcomes.
- Continuously evaluate and implement innovative tech solutions to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
Compliance & Governance
- Ensure all recruitment activities comply with regulatory requirements and internal policies across global jurisdictions.
- Maintain accurate records and uphold GDPR and PII standards.

Requirements
- A minimum of 7 years of progressive talent acquisition experience, including at least 5 years leading full-cycle recruitment for underwriting, claims, and other business-critical insurance roles.
- Prior property and casualty insurance industry experience is required, with a proven track record of recruiting underwriting and claims professionals across all levels, from technicians to senior and lead roles.
- Demonstrated mastery across the end-to-end recruiting lifecycle — workforce and hiring-plan partnership with underwriting and claims leaders, intake and role scoping, sourcing strategy, candidate assessment, interview governance, offer negotiation, and onboarding handover.
- Strong proactive and executive sourcing capability across direct channels, LinkedIn Recruiter, talent pipelines, referrals, and search partners, with a proven ability to map the underwriting and claims talent market and fill hard-to-source, niche, and leadership roles.
- Demonstrated ability to act as a trusted advisor to senior underwriting and claims leaders — shaping talent strategy, advising on labor markets and competitive positioning, and influencing critical hiring decisions across all levels of the organization.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation, and facilitation skills, with the ability to represent the organization to senior external candidates, deliver an outstanding candidate experience, and navigate sensitive and confidential matters with discretion and professionalism.
- Strong judgment, problem-solving capability, and initiative, with the ability to lead complex, evolving, and high-stakes searches and maintain confidentiality.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret recruiting metrics and labor-market intelligence (time-to-fill, pipeline health, source effectiveness, market mapping) to inform strategy, identify opportunities, and improve hiring outcomes across the underwriting and claims functions.
- Demonstrated ability to own a complex, high-priority requisition portfolio independently, execute with strong attention to detail, and deliver high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong results orientation, sound execution skills, and a hands-on yet strategic approach to partnering with the business and delivering recruiting solutions.
- Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (ATS), Microsoft PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
Compensation
Actual base pay could vary and may be above or below the listed range based on factors including but not limited to experience, subject matter expertise, and skills. The base pay is just one component of Ascot's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual cash bonus and other forms of discretionary compensation awarded by the Company.
The annualized base pay range for this role is: $120,000 - $130,000.
