
Reporting to the Head of Talent Acquisition ANZ, and based in our Melbourne Head Office, you'll be the recruitment expert for our Operator workforce across Victoria, partnering closely with leaders to attract, assess and hire the talent that keeps our manufacturing sites running.
Working alongside our site leaders, you'll lead end-to-end Operator recruitment, deliver engaging Assessment Centres, build strong local talent pipelines, and coach hiring managers to make confident hiring decisions.
From Mars Snacking and Mars Petcare to Royal Canin and Mars Food, you'll play a key role in ensuring our manufacturing teams have the skilled people they need today while building talent communities for tomorrow.
What you'll do:
Own end-to-end Operator recruitment across our Victorian manufacturing sites, delivering a consistent, best-practice hiring experience.
Lead high-volume Assessment Centres to identify and hire exceptional operational talent.
Partner with site leaders as a trusted talent advisor, providing market insights and recruitment expertise.
Develop innovative sourcing strategies to attract operators in competitive talent markets.
Build and nurture strong local talent pools to support current and future hiring needs.
Introduce creative approaches to attract diverse talent and strengthen workforce capability.
Coach hiring managers on behavioural interviewing and best-practice selection.
Provide recruitment forecasting, reporting and workforce insights to support workforce planning.
Champion an exceptional candidate experience and bring the Mars employer brand to life.
Partner with HR Business Partners on succession planning and future operator talent pipelines.
About you:
Tertiary qualification in HR (preferred)
Proven experience as a Talent Acquisition Partner managing high-volume portfolios including running Assessment Centres.
Strong stakeholder management and the ability to influence and partner with leaders.
Demonstrated success delivering sourcing strategies
Experience leveraging social media and digital talent channels.
A genuine passion for candidate experience, diversity and capability building.
Willingness to travel to Ballarat (Chocolate Factory) and Wodonga (Petcare) when needed.
