We’re looking for a Talent Acquisition & Operational Training Coordinator to join our People team and play an important role in supporting recruitment and operational training across Stagecoach. It’s a varied role. One day you could be helping an Operating Company recruit for a hard-to-fill role, the next coordinating Driver CPC training, supporting an Apprentice recruitment campaign or helping create opportunities for young people who are not currently in education, employment or training (NEET).

What you’ll be doing

You’ll get involved in a broad mix of recruitment and training activity, including:

• Supporting the end-to-end recruitment journey, helping us deliver a great experience for candidates and hiring managers.
• Working with our Operating Companies and Central Functions to understand their recruitment needs and provide support, guidance and coordination.
• Using Workday Recruiting and Paradox AI to manage vacancies, candidates and recruitment activity.
• Directly sourcing candidates for priority, specialist and hard-to-fill roles and helping us build future talent pipelines.
• Working with our recruitment media partner to make sure we’re using the right attraction channels and getting the most from our recruitment campaigns.
• Supporting Apprentice and NEET recruitment, helping us create accessible routes into employment and opportunities for people at the beginning of their careers.
• Coordinating Driver CPC and Operational Driver Training, including training schedules, bookings, attendance and communications.
• Working closely with trainers, operational teams, managers and colleagues to keep everything running smoothly.
• Looking for ways we can continually improve our recruitment processes, systems and candidate and hiring manager experience.

What we’re looking for

You don’t need to know everything from day one. What’s important is that you’re organised, proactive and enjoy working with people.

Ideally, you’ll bring:

• Some previous experience within recruitment, Talent Acquisition or training.
• An understanding of the recruitment process and/or wider employee lifecycle.
• Experience using recruitment, HR or learning systems.
• Strong organisation skills and the ability to juggle different priorities.
• Great attention to detail and confidence working with data.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• A friendly, professional and customer-focused approach.
• The confidence to build relationships with colleagues and stakeholders across different areas of a business.
