About the Role

Reporting to the Talent Acquisition Manager the role of Talent Acquisition Officer will see you thrive in our fast paced, dynamic and values centric team of experienced internal talent professionals specialising in volume hiring (across hospitality & personal carer roles), corporate functions and clinical leadership recruiting & candidate onboarding best practice. Based in our National Office located in Bundall Gold Coast, our TA team enjoy a hybrid workplace with 2 office days and 3 work from home days, ensuring we all strike a positive work / life balance whilst delivering high volume hiring across 23 locations in QLD, NSW, SA and VIC.

Over the last 2 years we have implemented innovative internal talent systems and tools, that has freed up our TA team to focus more heavily on business partnering, candidate experience and streamlined onboarding processes - it's even won an industry award! This Recruitment & Onboarding volume role will see you work in partnership with our recruiters, rostering, payroll and operational staff to ensure all successful candidates are effectively onboarded into our national care home operations providing smooth and professional candidate to new employee experiences.

About You

YOU are a recruitment or onboarding officer with a minimum of two (2) years volume experience offering a “people person” style with a passion for delivering positive onboarding & HR outcomes. Your work-life focus is having pride in your work, growing both personally and professionally and to work with like- minded colleagues!

We will enjoy watching you apply your transferrable skills across;

  • High volume recruitment onboarding experience from hospitality, retail and/or similar fields
  • Demonstrated onboarding experience establishing accurate HR files, industry and employment compliance record keeping to set-up for boarder HR stakeholders' accessibility.
  • Attention to detail, methodical approach to daily tasks, ability to apply strong follow-up with colleagues or support team
  • Strong ability to work within set rhythmic timeframes across multi-sites to achieve new employee onboarding and orientation outcomes.
  • You naturally have a positive and continuous improvement mindset, we love new ideas to finding better ways of doing our daily tasks! Smarter not harder right!
  • Your friendly and welcoming personal style enables you to engage with a range of candidates, colleagues and operational leaders to ensure onboarding activities are completed in strict timeframes and quality levels.
  • You thoroughly understand the confidentiality nature of working in recruitment and commit to business & sector compliance obligations.
  • You enjoy being an active participant in team meetings, workshops and broader HR activities
  • You have experience viewing employment contracts, work rights and related HR employment documents that meet business compliance needs.
