Job Description

As a Talent Acquisition Officer, you will participate within the Talent Acquisition team to attracting and recruiting talent for our Organisation. You will gain hands-on experience and develop valuable skills in sourcing, recruitment, and employer branding.

Your responsibilities

  • Participate in the full recruitment and sourcing lifecycle, including CV screening, candidate communication, interview coordination, and contract administration.
  • Proactively engage with potential candidates through online platforms, professional networks, and databases, with a particular focus on under-represented groups (e.g. women in STEM).
  • Contribute to promoting CERN's employer brand across multiple channels, including social media, job boards, and career fairs.
  • Generate reports and analyse recruitment and sourcing data to identify trends, insights, and opportunities for continuous improvement.

Your profile:

  • Knowledge of basic recruitment & sourcing principles and techniques.
  • Knowledge of content creation and social media tools will be an asset.

Skills:

  • Highly organised and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple tasks in parallel.
  • Proactive, with a strong willingness to learn and contribute to team objectives.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism.
  • Spoken and written English, with a commitment to learn French.

Eligibility criteria:

  • By the application deadline, you have a maximum of two years of professional experience since graduation in HR, Business Administration, Psychology (or a related field) and your highest educational qualification is either a Bachelor's or Master's degree
  • You have never had a CERN fellow or graduate contract before.
  • Applicants without University degree are not eligible.
  • Applicants with a PhD are not eligible.

Contract duration: 24 months, with a possible extension up to 36 months maximum.
