Purpose of the Role
The Talent Acquisition Lead, Hong Kong & Taiwan, will be the point of contact for Chubb recruitment activity across the Hong Kong & Taiwan cluster. Based in Hong Kong and reporting to the Head of Talent Acquisition, APAC, the successful candidate will partner with the Head of HR, Hong Kong & Taiwan, to apply their sourcing and recruitment expertise to develop hiring strategies and lead employment branding initiatives, as well as identify, attract, assess and hire exceptional talent for Chubb in a cost-effective way.
The role will also be expected to provide support, guidance and knowledge to local TA colleagues in the region and will work with key senior stakeholders to continuously improve our recruitment practices.
You will be stretched daily and held to demanding standards, but you will have the opportunity to work in a supportive team with a high degree of autonomy.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement recruitment strategies for each role as they arise, including the implementation of proactive marketing, pipelining and sourcing strategies, enabling a proactive approach to recruitment, looking beyond immediate needs.
End to end recruitment including sourcing, screening, shortlisting, interviewing and reference checks, with a particular focus on senior / executive level roles.
Direct sourcing of candidates using LinkedIn and other suitable tools and social media.
Source, screen and assess competence of candidates against job specification. Work closely with the recruiting line managers and HR Business Partners to move to offer and onboarding.
Business Partnering / strategic collaboration with the business to achieve goals and KPI’s set within Chubb’s Talent Acquisition team(s).
Identify and resolve escalated / and potential issues. Follow up on any resolutions required.
Be resourceful and hands-on in problem solving. Remove blockers and identify areas for improvement.
Provide continuous feedback to colleagues and management team.
Anticipate problems and serve as a guardrail. Be an advisor and take the lead.
Review current processes and vendor panel. Ensure best in class practices and set clear plans to achieve this.
Manage a portfolio of recruitment BAU (end to end, full lifecycle), projects, training, reporting and UAT.
Build a strong knowledge of the key talent in the market, build market intelligence and gain a thorough knowledge and understanding of Chubb’s competitors.
Foster relationships with key partners, internal stakeholders and industry experts.
