Talent Acquisition Co-op / Intern

Location: Ottawa, Ontario, Canada

Work term: 4 - 8 months

About the opportunity:

Join Ericsson’s Talent Acquisition team in Ottawa and help create a thoughtful, well-organized hiring experience for candidates and hiring teams. In this role, you’ll support recruitment for full-time positions and Early Career opportunities, including co-op and intern hiring. You’ll gain practical exposure to recruiting operations, candidate engagement, and the tools and processes that support hiring in a global technology organization.

What you’ll do:

• Support TA on special projects related to streamlining processes and improving best practices
• Support with TA branding exercises and presentations
• Support campus and Early Career recruiting activities, such as information sessions, events, and candidate communications.
• Prepare recruitment updates, trackers, and basic reports; help identify process improvements and keep shared materials current.
• Collaborate with Talent Acquisition colleagues and internal partners while handling candidate information with care and discretion.

The skills you bring:

• Working towards a Bachelors or Masters degree
• Exposure to AI-enabled recruiting tools and emerging AI applications in Talent Acquisition. You’ll learn how these tools can support recruiting work, how to review outputs critically, and why human judgment remains central to candidate evaluation and selection
• Proven experience building and deploying AI agents to streamline processes and improve workflows
• An interest in Talent Acquisition, Human Resources, business, communications, or a related field.
• Strong organization and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and follow through on deadlines.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills and a professional, candidate-focused approach.
• Comfort working with Microsoft Office or similar productivity tools; willingness to learn recruiting systems and processes.
• Discretion when handling confidential or personal information.
• Curiosity, initiative, and a collaborative mindset.

Your Pay

The salary offered is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, and the candidate’s combination of job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience.

The salary range for this position is:

• Bachelors: $22/hr - $29/hr
• Masters: $30/hr
