The Talent Acquisition Coordinator plays a critical role in supporting the recruitment process and delivering an exceptional experience for candidates, hiring managers, and internal stakeholders. This position is responsible for coordinating recruiting activities, ensuring operational excellence, and driving process efficiency throughout the hiring lifecycle. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive, with a passion for creating a seamless hiring experience while helping attract and retain top talent.

Explore your tasks and responsibilities

Recruitment Coordination

  • Coordinate recruitment activities throughout the hiring process, including job postings, interview scheduling, offer preparation, pre-employment screenings, onboarding activities, and new hire coordination.
  • Partner with recruiters, hiring managers, HR, IT, and external vendors to ensure a smooth and efficient recruitment process.

Candidate Experience

  • Deliver a positive, professional, and engaging candidate experience from application through onboarding.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for candidate inquiries and provide timely communication throughout the hiring process.
  • Coordinate interview logistics and ensure a seamless experience for candidates and hiring teams.

Process Improvement

  • Track and analyze recruiting metrics to identify opportunities for process enhancements and operational efficiencies.
  • Support the implementation of best practices, standardized procedures, and continuous improvement initiatives within the Talent Acquisition function.

Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Build strong working relationships with hiring managers, HR Business Partners, recruiters, and external service providers.
  • Proactively identify and resolve recruiting-related issues while ensuring a high level of customer service.

Compliance & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate recruiting records and documentation while ensuring compliance with company policies and applicable employment regulations.
  • Support reporting activities by preparing recruiting metrics, hiring activity summaries, and status updates.
  • Ensure data integrity within applicant tracking systems and other recruiting platforms.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in a Human Resources-related role, or two (2) years of HR experience combined with a Bachelor's degree.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of Talent Acquisition, recruiting coordination, or recruitment operations experience required.
  • Strong understanding of recruiting processes, HR practices, policies, and procedures.
  • Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and Microsoft Office applications, including intermediate Excel skills.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
  • High level of discretion and ability to handle confidential information.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a customer-focused approach.
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and process compliance.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience supporting high-volume recruitment within a medium-to-large corporate environment preferred.
  • Experience supporting recruiting efforts within engineering, construction, manufacturing, or technical industries preferred.
