DEPARTMENT OVERVIEW:
At Goodwill SWPA, we have transformed our Human Resources Department into People Services, reflecting our mission to help others through a People-First culture lens. People Services supports the actualization of Goodwill SWPA's mission by ensuring agency wide compliance with regulations our work is beholden to, at Federal, State, Local, and specific contractual levels. People Services serves as a vital resource for all agency supervisors and employees in the areas of benefits, training, recruiting, performance management, employee relations, and concerns and questions staff may have during the course of their employment.
The Talent Acquisition Coordinator is a crucial supportive pilar for the Talent Acquisition team and People Services department, responsible for ensuring the accurate completion of hiring processes such as recruitment, pre-boarding, communication and other administrative tasks relevant to the work of the team. This position monitors candidate progress through the hiring life cycle and serves as the key point of contact with hiring managers and other stakeholders regarding where candidates are in various stages of the hiring process. The Talent Acquisition Coordinator helps maintain an effective hiring process by resolving routine issues and escalating more complex issues as appropriate. This position works directly with the Talent Acquisition Specialist and reports directly to the Talent Acquisition Supervisor.
This position is best suited for recent graduates with a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field, as well as final-year undergraduate students in Human Resources or related disciplines who are ready to begin their careers.
Status: Regular, Full-time, Non-exempt.
Location: Workforce Development Center - 118 52nd St, Pittsburgh, PA 15201
External Hiring Range: $20/hour.
Schedule: Monday - Friday, either 8 AM to 4 PM or 9 AM to 5 PM.
Travel: Occasional travel may be required.
