Your Opportunity 

This fixed term opportunity has arisen due to a team member’s secondment into a higher level role, highlighting the strong career progression pathways available at Queensland Rail.

Reporting to the Recruitment Lead, you will join a high performing Recruitment Team of 11 Senior Recruitment Advisers and work closely with another Talent Acquisition Coordinator.

Our Talent Acquisition Coordinators play a pivotal administrative and collaborative role within our broader team. Together, you will share responsibility for a diverse range of duties, including:

  • Recruitment enquiry management — Acting as the first point of contact for general recruitment enquiries, providing accurate policy advice to internal and external stakeholders, managing the recruitment inbox (averaging 70+ emails per day), and meeting tight response deadlines.
  • Compliance — Ensuring all recruitment approvals are compliant and align to process accurately.
  • Volume campaign support — Coordinating and supporting bulk recruitment activities such as assessment centres, testing bookings, and maintaining tracking spreadsheets, while ensuring a positive candidate experience.
  • Administrative support — Providing high level administrative and recruitment support across end to end recruitment activities.
  • Internal movement administration — Managing internal movement system tasks and issuing Letters of Offer.
  • Contingent workforce processing — Supporting contingent workforce requirements, including procurement processing and liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Psychometric testing — Administering psychometric assessments and reviewing results.
  • Recruitment projects — Assisting with recruitment related projects, including process mapping and the development of guides.

You’ll also enjoy monthly regional travel, generally a 1–2 night stay, to deliver psychometric testing (once qualified).
