Job Description

As our Talent Acquisition Business Partner for emergency veterinary recruitment, you will manage the end-to-end recruitment of emergency veterinarians across our network.

Joining a collaborative team of seven, you will work closely with our Specialist Veterinary Recruiter and Specialty and Emergency Clinical Support Recruiter. Together, you will share market knowledge, coordinate attraction activity and support recruitment across our emergency and referral hospitals.

Every hospital and location offers something different. You will take the time to understand their clinical environment, team culture and local lifestyle, then bring those opportunities to life for prospective candidates in Australia and overseas.

You will:

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment for emergency veterinarians across our network
  • Build relationships with veterinary professionals locally and internationally
  • Develop targeted sourcing and attraction strategies for a competitive candidate market
  • Partner with hospital leaders to understand their workforce needs and recruitment priorities
  • Bring the clinical, career and lifestyle benefits of each opportunity to life
  • Proactively source candidates through professional networks, referrals, social media and direct outreach
  • Provide practical recruitment advice and market insights to stakeholders
  • Deliver a responsive, personal and supportive candidate experience
  • Collaborate with the wider Talent Acquisition team on campaigns, projects and shared priorities
  • Support international candidates through recruitment, professional registration, relocation and migration processes, in partnership with our internal and external specialists

About you

We are open to people with different professional backgrounds. You may bring experience from:

  • A veterinary clinical role, including general practice, emergency, specialty or veterinary nursing
  • Veterinary recruitment or Talent Acquisition
  • Human healthcare recruitment, including medical, nursing or allied health portfolios
