PURPOSE SUMMARY. Perform advanced professional work supporting the County’s Talent Acquisition Division. Independently manages complex recruitment activities, conducts workforce analysis, supports workforce planning initiatives, and develops recommendations that enhance recruitment effectiveness, employee experience, and organizational performance. Provides professional consultation to departments and assists with implementation of strategic Talent & Culture initiatives.
ADDITIONAL DUTIES. Other duties as assigned.
A. Education. Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Human Resources, Business Administration, Public Administration, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Organizational Leadership, or related field.
B. Experience. Five (5) years of professional experience in talent acquisition, workforce planning, organizational development, workforce analytics, or human resources administration. Public sector experience is preferred.
C. Education/Experience substitution. N/A
D. Licenses/Certifications. Valid driver’s license. Must maintain a valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record in accordance with County policy. Senior Professional in HR (SPHR), Professional in HR (PHR), Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP), Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) AIRS, PSHRA-CP, PSHRA-SCP, or comparable certification is preferred.
E. Other (e.g., post-offer medical exam, polygraph, background check, driver’s license record, etc.). Must pass pre-employment background check and driving record check.
