At this store, we will deliver to our customers exclusive services such as clothing repair, upcycling, embroidery, and tailoring services as part of our sustainability activity. We are now looking for a Tailoring Specialist to join our team! This role is ideal for anyone who has experience in customising clothes or with a fashion education background.

  • Hours: Full Time (35h)

  • Starting Date: As soon as possible

  • Flexibility: You are flexible to work Saturdays and across various shifts

What is your purpose?

  • Altering length of trousers, skirts, sleeves and embroidery

  • Upcycling (Sashiko, darning etc..)

  • Discussing alteration or repair requirements with customers to ensure that their specifications are met

  • Accurately recording customer’s measurements, instructions and preferences

  • Comply with store policies and procedures to ensure smooth operations and minimise loss

  • Collaborate enthusiastically with all team members and offer to support them when needed to form a united high performing team

  • Relay the voice of customers about products and services to company management to continue to make our business relevant for the customers of today and tomorrow

  • When needed be able to support store operation task to make sure we have the best store possible for our customers

  • Greet and advise our customers on the sales floor, in the fitting room and at the checkout in order to offer exceptional customer service

  • Maintain a clean and tidy sales floor allowing our customers to experience the UNIQLO universe

  • Process deliveries and set up items on the sales floor to ensure their enhancement

  • A percentage of the tailor’s time (e.g. 25%) will be devoted to pure store task

Who are our Tailoring specialists?

  • You have the right to work in Belgium. We do not sponsor work visa.

  • You speak Dutch and basic English.

  • You are flexible to work Saturdays and across various shifts.

  • You come from all walks of life – no fashion or retail background necessary.
