CONTEXT & ENVIRONMENT:
Within a Fashion Boutique Tailoring Atelier, the Atelier Manager plays a pivotal role in the Ready-to-Wear strategy, bringing the CHANEL&moi engagement to life for every team member.
As an Atelier Manager, you are both ambassador and guardian of the Perfect Fit, embodying and transmitting our Maison’s commitment to excellence through every client fitting and technical intervention by your team.
You collaborate closely with Boutique Managers and Fashion Advisors to orchestrate seamless fitting experiences, and you develop your team’s ability to create unforgettable moments for clients.
You report directly to the RTW Sales Manager or Operation Manager of the boutique, while maintaining a dotted-line collaboration with the CHANEL&moi RTW & Ecole de la Retouche team in Paris. This dual reporting structure ensures seamless alignment between boutique objectives and technical excellence in alterations.

1. PERFECT FIT EXCELLENCE At CHANEL, the Ready-to-Wear experience is truly unique, distinguished by a relentless pursuit of the Perfect Fit. As an Atelier Manager, you are the guardian of the fitting ceremony, where each adjustment becomes a celebration of savoir-faire. You combine exceptional, personalized client communication skills with strong tailoring expertise, ensuring each client meets the tailoring difference of the House. Thanks to your managerial skills, you inspire and engage every tailor, uniting the team around this shared commitment to excellence. Your guidance transforms the Atelier into a place where craft, care, and client experience are woven together in every fitting.
2. ATELIER TEAM MANAGEMENT & COACHING: Tailoring being a key of ready-to-wear success, you support and develop the tailoring team to achieve boutique and Atelier objectives. You inspire and unite tailors by fostering collaboration and celebrating collective successes.
3. ATELIER OPERATIONAL MANAGEMENT: Driving Atelier performance through workload management and close collaboration with RTW Sales Managers, identifying opportunities, anticipating risks, and keeping teams ahead.

Through expert adjustments and a deep understanding of the Perfect Fit and proportions, you ensure each piece reflects both the brand’s craftsmanship and the client’s individuality. By developing Fitting-Tailors’ and Tailors’ skills, you transform fittings into memorable experiences, strengthening the client’s connection to the House and making every Perfect Fit a true expression of luxury and personalization.
