What you’ll do

  • Lead Weir Minerals’ APAC tailings strategy, driving market growth through innovative and scalable customer solutions.
  • Partner with customers, EPCMs, and stakeholders to develop integrated tailings solutions that improve performance, sustainability, and lifecycle value.
  • Identify and advance strategic project opportunities, influencing decisions from early study phases through to project delivery.
  • Support technical validation, proposal development, and executive-level engagement to position Weir as a trusted tailings solutions partner.
  • Build regional capability by coaching sales teams, developing customer-facing resources, and aligning cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality outcomes.
  • Safety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world-class safety culture.

What you’ll bring

  • Previous experience in technical sales, business development, engineering, or product strategy within the mining and minerals sector.
  • Strong understanding of tailings management, including thickening, dewatering, slurry transport, water recovery, and lifecycle optimisation.
  • Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders, lead complex project pursuits, and engage at executive and study levels.
  • Qualification in Mechanical, Process, or a related Engineering discipline is desirable.
  • Experience supporting test work programs, flowsheet development, and integrated tailings solutions.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into compelling customer value propositions.
