We are constantly expanding our business and looking for talented individuals to join our team.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tailing Supervisor to join our team. The Tailing Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the management and operations of the tailing area at our site.

Key Responsibilities:

• Focus on supervising on-site operations of the Tailings Storage Facility (TSF), resource allocation, return water system operation, and verification of the authenticity of routine monitoring data to ensure the on-site operation of TSF is compliant, efficient and safe
• Frequently access the TSF area to supervise tailings discharge, stacking and dam raising operations, ensure the operator conducts even tailings discharge to avoid abnormally high or low local beach areas; strictly inspect the construction quality of sub-dam raising including material sourcing, compaction, slope protection, etc., to meet design and specification requirements.
• Supervise the dry beach management and safety warning work of TSF, verify whether the dry beach length meets the design standard; inspect the integrity of safety warning signage, water level gauges and online monitoring equipment around the TSF to ensure all facilities are in normal use.
• Conduct inspections of TSF facilities, focus on checking whether the flood control system such as interception ditches, drainage wells and culverts is unobstructed without blockage or damage; investigate visible potential safety hazards of the dam body such as cracks, settlement and erosion gullies, record and feed back in a timely manner
• Supervise the operation of TSF return water system, inspect the working status of the return water pumping station, verify whether the return water flow rate and water quality indicators meet the reuse technical requirements of the FPP or smelter, and ensure the normal supply and use of the return water system.
• Be responsible for the verification of TSF routine monitoring data, check the data such as reservoir water level, phreatic line level and rainfall recorded by the operator to ensure the data is true and valid without artificial alteration.
• Conduct on-site witness supervision during groundwater monitoring and leachate water quality sampling, strictly inspect whether the sampling location, method and sample preservation comply with industry specifications, prevent sample substitution and contamination, and ensure the authenticity of monitoring samples.
• Be responsible for the hazard rectification closure management, track the rectification progress and effect of the operator for the hazards identified by the Tailings Asst. Manager and higher-level inspections, conduct on-site re-inspection and verification to ensure the hazards are rectified in place and form a closed loop.
• Complete other work related to TSF on-site operation, supervision and data verification arranged by the superior supervisor (Tailings Asst. Manager).

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mineral Processing, Metallurgical Engineering, Geological Engineering, Civil Engineering, Hydraulic Engineering, Environmental Engineering or other related disciplines; Bachelor's degree or higher is preferred.
• Have more than 3 years of relevant work experience in on-site operation, safety inspection or process supervision of mine TSF, experience in on-site tailings handling of nickel industry hydrometallurgical projects is highly desirable.
• Be familiar with TSF on-site operation process, dam construction and tailings discharge processes, operation principle of return water and seepage treatment system, and master the basic professional technical knowledge of TSF on-site operation.
• Understand the basic specifications and standards related to TSF safety management and environmental compliance, and can accurately identify common potential safety hazards of dam body, flood control system, pipe network and other facilities in the TSF area.
• Have strong on-site verification ability, can verify the compliance of the operator's operation and the authenticity of monitoring data through on-site inspection and data verification, and eliminate data fraud and operation violations.
• Have basic cognitive of instrument and equipment operation, can read the readings of TSF monitoring facilities such as online monitoring equipment, flow meters and water level gauges, and master basic sampling and monitoring auxiliary working methods.
• Have good on-site working ability, accept high-frequency inspection work in the TSF area, and have strong pressure resistance and executive power.
• Have good communication and coordination ability, can communicate efficiently with the operator's on-site operation team and superior supervisors, feed back on-site problems in a timely manner, track rectification progress, and ensure smooth work connection.
• Have a rigorous working attitude and strong sense of responsibility, be careful and earnest in on-site inspection, data verification and other work, can find and record various problems in a timely manner, and achieve no omission in hazard investigation.
• Have basic document recording ability, can standardly record daily inspection results, hazard information, rectification verification and other contents, and form complete and clear on-site work records.
• Have relevant awareness of safe production and occupational health, strictly abide by the on-site safe operation specifications of mines and TSF, and can implement safe operation requirements in supervision work.
• Familiar with relevant Indonesian laws and regulations on tailings storage facility management.
• Ability to communicate in Mandarin is preferred.
