Travel Percentage: Up to 25%
Job Shift: Monday-Friday/Rotating ScheduleOPENING DATE:  February 7, 2026

POSITION SUMMARY: Assist the Tax Administrator in overseeing and enforcing taxation regulations within the Tribal Jurisdiction boundaries in accordance with the General Revenue and Taxation Act of 1995. This includes but not limited to Motor Vehicle Registration, and Taxation. Main job is serving our tribal members.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assists the Tax Administrator in administering taxation regulations contained in the General Revenue and Taxation Act, Part 6, Taxation and Registration of Motor Vehicles.
- Must keep abreast of Motor Vehicle Table of Charges, NADA Value Guide and the process for payments with Debit and Credit Cards.
- Prepares periodic reports as required.
- Works on computer, data base, other office automation equipment.
- Excellent phone and people skills
- Must have a professional work attitude.
- Must be able to multi-task job functions.
- Must possess excellent listening skills, customer service, communication and be able to follow detailed instructions.
- Performs other duties assigned.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES AND REPORTING:
Reports to the Tax Administrator
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Must be able to lift a minimum of 30 lbs. Maybe subject to long intervals of standing, sitting, and walking.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Majority of work will be performed in an office setting, curb-side service may require outside weather exposure based on services offered. Extremely fast paced, will be tasked multiple objectives at once.

QualificationsQUALIFICATIONS:
- Must have proficient understanding of all Microsoft Suite programs, Internet explorer, Adobe Acrobat and any other pertinent Tax Commission software.
- Must have experience working with Tribal Government.
- Must possess good verbal and written communication and research skills.
- Maintain strict confidentiality
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and be insurable under the Comanche Nation motor vehicle policy.
- Must be able to pass a drug test and background investigation.
- Preferred: Associate Degree or two years education above the high school level with 2 years’ experience in the Tag Office environment.
- Minimum:  High School graduate or GED with one-year experience in computer technology, office skills and one-year work experience in the Tag Office environment.
